One of the best crab from non restaurant settings... Not the most friendly staffs. NOTE. Went back again in Dec 2019 and they have since changed boss. Same great good and better pricing. Service was OK, don't expect restaurant service. The prawn braised bed hoon is very nice.

Today I had the pleasure to discover Mr Crab, and it has been one of the best experiences I have ever had in Singapore Mr Crab is located in a hawker center near Buona Vista MRT station. Probably, it is not the most fanciest hawker centre, but it's clean and tidy. Mr Crab offers a variety of seafood Chinese dishes, and from what you can imagine, Crab is their signature dish. The ingredients are fresh, portions are good and the service is good. You need to bear in mind that in Singapore, you need to pay for the tissues, which you will need after eating the crab. Highly recommended

Oct 2019. Been here for the first time. The price of crab was $70 per kg. And by the time we were here at 6pm, the large ones were sold out. We settled for 2 instead. There was a promotion of a fried tilapia at $1 with a min. spending of $100 on crabs. The overall experience was ok. The kangkong and baby kailan were clinical. The tilapia's cantonese sauce was a bit salty. The protagonist - Crab - was good. Although their signature was salted egg Crab, we opted for a safer option of Chilli crab. Fresh and packed with crunchy crabby flesh, dipped in the savoury chilli gravy. I would prefer a less nutty and spicier gravy, but the fresh crab made up for the little flaw. The coffee shop should improve on its air flow. We were seated indoors, we could still smell cigarette smoke from a smoking corner.

Really awesome crab and local Singaporean fare! You should get both the black pepper and salted egg crab. Really friendly staff :)

Not that bad as review by others regards staff attitude. Maybe I'm here at 4pm which still not the peak hour. Price consider high side for neighbourhood Coffee shop. Taste overall acceptable but won't be coming back again.
