Classic w Chicken/ Charsiew/ Curry Chicken ($6.80), w Ebi 4pc ($7.30) @@ SMALL portions. Food may be served lukewarm, or even cold. Chilli is more sweet than spicy
View on GoogleCurious to see an outlet in utown. Danlao is a true gem for quick, crave-worthy comfort food, The Crispy Chicken Cutlet Egg Scramble Rice ($6.50) is a must-try. The dish stars a golden, crackling chicken cutlet paired with a silky, velvety egg scramble that drapes over fragrant rice—all drenched in a sweet-savory soy glaze. Add their crispy chili oil (provided on the side) for a smoky, spicy kick that elevates every bite. That said the rice could be fluffier but it could be sitting around a while due to off peak hours. I went off peak but the setup is no-frills and efficient, ideal for grab-and-go lunches. Staff are warm and swift. While the menu is compact, the execution shines at least for the chicken option.
View on GoogleGot their signature chicken cutlet bowl for $6.50. Their egg is very silky and creamy, pairs well with rice! I like that the rice was just right for me but others may not think it's enough. Their fried chicken tasted not bad but I felt that the skin was a little stale and it was not hot enough. When I eat their provided chilli it's just kinda sweet and not spicy enough. Overall worth to eat once or twice lorh.
View on Googlefood was good. on the pricy end $6.50 which was not too good. what was disappointing was the service. cold, unhappy and unpleasant experience from the woman who served me at the cash register. also not courteous to customers. rlly nd to work on their service. on top of that when my order was ready, my number wasnt called out at all when i waited in front of the shop all the while. waited super long until i realised that cold bowl was mine. lastly, food portion was very small and char siew was pretty burnt. not good guys. stay away
View on GoogleThe egg is really V good, texture is perfect for comfort food. Tomato was great too, it's not overly sweet nor sour, and works V well. Quite expensive for 5.5nett without any meat Pork belly add-on is 4.5nett, it was really oily this time, hope it's a one off. The flavour is not good, texture wasn't great either Second try: Char siew fares better than their braised pork belly. It's the Jap style. Not superb, but it's good enough. Quite a lean cut, aburi-ed, and quite generous for 3.3nett. there's about 7pcs? Which is a lot more than your typical ramen with 2-3
