many reviews about their xiao long bao so I ordered though my original plan was to get the Sichuan dan Dan noodle. Dan Dan noodle quite authentic, adequate crushed peanuts with chilli oil & broth. Noodle is decently chewy. Xiao long baos were also made well. Skin thickness just nice, not too thin till tearing easily nor too thick. Inside each dumpling were filled with soup. But somehow the soup from the dumpling didn't taste too fragrant as I'd prefer. Maybe lack of lard.

INCREDIBLE! We spent 14 dollars (local currency), so about £8 for two people. We had two portions of dumplings (20 pieces total) and they were incredible. The pictures on the sign did not do the food justice. We had the pan fried dumplings and the szechuan spicy wonton. Truly amazing. It’s hard to find using google maps, you need to go inside and up one floor to the food court area. They have a couple of Michelin Guide recommendations, meaning there is a little queue, but totally worth it. They only accept cash!

The best meal I had in SG. Ordered their beef noodles for $6 and an order of the soup dumplings with 10pcs for $8. It was a lot for one person but it was so good I devoured it all. The noodles were packed with so much meat. While the dumplings was still piping hot when served and had so much soup and meat inside. Worth the visit and will come back again when I have the chance.

This is probably the best budget-friendly spot for authentic XLB in Chinatown. The dumpling skin was perfectly thin, while the soup inside was savoury and juicy. We also ordered the zha jiang mian and it was decently tasty but not to die for. We went on a Wednesday night for dinner and there was a queue but it moves fast :)

my go-to orders from this stall include their chilli oil dumplings, xiao long bao, guo tie (fried dumplings), and sze chuan spicy dan dan mian. prices have increased over the years but quality remains great :) server is smiley and really friendly! do expect to queue up to 30-45mins during mealtimes.
