We stopped off here to get a cheap tiger, was 10$ for a large bottle and ended up having 2 lovely dishes, sizzling beef and lemon chicken, both temperature hot and very tasty with loads of vegetables, toilets via the kitchen area all very clean, would return
View on GoogleHate to do this to one of my fav tse char store in the past but today was kinda disappointing. Paid $51.70 for a meal of 2. Order 1 med sambal fried rice, 1 small Cai Po egg and small butter chicken but was charged the large size for all items… my mistake on not checking the receipt before paying cause we were rushing off. Only realised something was off after leaving so my colleague head back to ask for the printed receipt. Will probably think twice before heading back again
View on GoogleWe ordered the chilli crab and cereal (oatmeal) prawns with seafood fried rice. The food was so good! Reasonably priced as well.
View on GoogleThe last time one of us came here was 5 years ago and safe to say, the standard has not dropped. We brought our French and Italian friend along and they thoroughly enjoyed eating here, having eaten in Singapore for at least a decade. The har cheong gai was very good, fried well without excessive oil smell and a good strong prawn paste taste. Meat was tender and juicy too. The tie pan tofu was also good with a good portion. Kailan was fresh and crunchy, well stir fried. The sambal sotong was not too fresh but cooked well and we enjoyed the sambal flavour. The yang zhou fried rice was very fragrant and we enjoyed it so much we decided to get another portion. Staff were helpful and quick to serve us and answer our questions, though we were one of few people there as we went in at around midnight. They close at 1.30am so it is a super good spot for supper to end the night.
