25 May 2026 // Visited again today and discovered you can swap the rice in the Don for salad — a game-changer for me! The Don did take a little while to arrive, but that’s because the yakitori are made fresh to order, which is worth the wait. One thing to note: opting for salad instead of rice made the skewers taste noticeably saltier, so keep that in mind when customising your order. The coconut ice cream was well enjoyed by my colleagues too! 10 April 2026 // Second visit here and finally leaving a review. Made a reservation for six on a Friday, but it wasn’t really necessary as the restaurant was relatively quiet — there were customers, just not crowded. I went for one of the set lunches. The portion sizes of the ingredients were clearly stated on the menu, and in hindsight I should have chosen the larger option since I don’t take carbs. The skewers were well done, and the chicken nanban was especially enjoyable. The set lunch comes with free-flow iced tea, hot miso soup, salad, a main, and ice cream. The coconut ice cream was a highlight — really liked it.
View on GoogleNice yakitori place with many japanese locals. Food is nicely seasoned — i really like the grilled stingray! The yakitoris were very tender, i also liked the minced meat skewer — it melts in your mouth
View on Googlefav izakaya spot! food’s great, skewers were cooked perfectly. most importantly they serve draft kirin beer
View on GoogleI’m a huge fan of their Yakitori, Caesar Salad & the boss is Japanese so you know the service & food standard is definitely Japanese level. I love their selection of sake too!
View on GoogleThis is some pretty good stuff! Chances upon them as I walked past and popped in on a Monday night. Wasn't crowded but that's expected. Service was great and we were very pleasantly surprised with the yakitori. Don't discount the innards like their chicke heart or the chicken butts. They were so so good! Also their signature liver skewers which comes with a countdown timer. You gonna eat it within 40 seconds. Overall it's pretty legit! Really enjoyed our meal here
