Highly recommended to make reservation to avoid disappointment regardless lunch or dinner. I tried both lunch and dinner. 3-5 pax is the best to try more food and of course free flow side sides. Love their kimchi and radish pickle. We ordered soul mate set - $98 for 3-4 people, came with chicken, pork and duo pancakes! The pancakes were so tasty. Besides, we ordered kimchi soup and toppoki too. The food was just nice for 5 of us. Set lunch with 1 main and 1 side. Check out their menu online.
View on GooglePlace was extremely crowded on a Saturday evening. The army stew was good, meat BBQ was tasty - however, the marinated meats were way better than the non-marinated ones. The non-marinated pork belly was pretty tough/dry and tasteless.. service in changing the BBQ plate was good, like the way that the BBQ was using actual charcoal and not electric BBQ. The korean pancake was delicious and crispy - personally, I feel that the kimchi flavor is better.
View on GoogleAwesome Korean BBQ, recommend by Koreans. It was difficult to get a reservation! Great service, tasty beef and noodle dishes, and fast flowing beer and soju! Only wish we could have continued longer. Excellent night out with friends!
View on GoogleNice Korean feel. Makes u feel like u are in Korea. Food is good.. tried iberico, pork collar and belly. Love the texture of the pork collar. Oh yes! And their pancake is a MUST TRY!! Got to reserve well in advance for Fri or sat.
View on GoogleTheir Korean BBQ truly lives up to its reputation! Value for money portions, authentic charcoal fire, and lots of yummy banchan (I love how there are non spicy options too) make Wang Dae Bak an excellent choice for gatherings. The seafood pancake was way larger than we had expected and each bite was a good mix of fluffy and crispy. The highlight for us would have to be their kimchi and pork stew! So flavorful and goes amazing with hot rice. Will surely return!
