I had the best chawanmushi in my life and so many amazing dishes during the omakase. The Japanese chef in front of me has been in Singapore for over a decade and he was filled with a lot of local jokes It was my birthday and the atmosphere was so happy and cheerful. I will call this my happy Japanese meal. Not the McDonald’s happy meal😂 The food quality is at exceptional The sushi was so fresh and melt in your mouth. They were so many little details added to the food just cannot explain all of them all I could say it was amazing They were using cute little Shiso flowers to at the taste, simply amazing

Celebrated my birthday at Teppei, was truly very heartwarming. Their staffs and boss were extremely friendly, it felt really cosy and a nice people to hangout in. Most importantly the food was truly very good and authentic. We had their omakase, it was fresh or quality and truly not your usual omakase. Every dish was my favourite and even the ice cream that they made! I like how they curated the menu, it was an overall extremely good experience. And i was so full after having their omakase!

I make it a point to visit once every 1-2 years. Still value for money, fresh ingredients, fast service, variety and taste. They also feature birthday specials and good sakes

My go-to place for a good Kaisen Don. Always had the Unagi Don and Ebi which is fantastic. The rest of it is authentic and flavourful. Location is great but service here is another level. Even though I come here often 1-2 a week, the staff here are always friendly and welcoming, treating me like it’s my first time. Shout out to the aunty at the cashier and sometimes the grandma who does the cleaning. Extremely friendly to my nieces! Thank you for making my experience here a great one each time!

Here for their affordable lunch menu for the umpteenth time, and it never disappoints 🤤 I had the Aburi Salmon Kaisendon while my partner had the Crab Kaisendon - both were amazing!! I’d rate my aburi salmon kaisendon a 10/10 - the fish was super fresh, sashimi portions were generous, and the aburi salmon had that perfect smoky, melt in your mouth texture ❤️ All seating is at the bar counter, so you get a front row view of the chefs in action, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable! Love that they serve free iced green tea, miso soup, braised daikon, and chicken wings - such a warm & thoughtful touch 🥰 The ambience is chill and nice, and the location is super convenient if you work in the CBD. Portions aren’t huge, which makes it the perfect lunch spot that won’t leave you in a food coma. Always a pleasure to dine here!
