Had our dinner here, is a small cozy Japanese izakaya 居酒屋 style space. The restaurant do provide mini birthday cake 🎂 to celebrate birthday for dinner. If lucky enough the chef would also provide as short magic trick. So far have kid friendly food item.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a fantastic dining experience at Teiyoshiya! The quality of the food was outstanding, and every dish was beautifully prepared and presented. A special mention goes to the ox tongue, which was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavour. It was cooked to perfection and easily one of the best I’ve had. The tempura was equally impressive—light, crispy, and not greasy at all, allowing the freshness of the ingredients to shine through. The service was attentive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the food and the dining experience here. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Japanese cuisine. I will definitely be returning!

Had a really enjoyable dining experience here! Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. The grilled meats were juicy and tender definitely on the more flavour end😋 while the unagi rice bowl had a generous portion with a rich, savoury glaze that paired perfectly with the rice. The oysters were fresh and complemented well by the toppings. Would personally highly recommend the Iberico pork to everyone! The atmosphere was cosy and easily accessible, located at the heart of Telok Ayer. Great place to catch up with friends to enjoy a nice and relaxed meal. Staffs were friendly and made all of is feel well take cared of throughout our visit here. Overall, a wonderful experience with delicious food, generous portions, and excellent service. Definitely a place I’d happily come back to and recommend to anyone looking for quality Japanese cuisine!

Cozy spot near Telok Ayer MRT with a great location and warm service. The food was good, reasonably priced, and you can tell care was put into the dishes. The team made the experience even better. The only downside was the waiting time for some dishes, but it would help if the team managed expectations on timing. Overall, still a lovely hidden gem that I would recommend, especially for those working around the CBD.

Love it here! The owner- Catherine, chef David & Stanley makes the experience even better! Food was top notch, affordable and the extra warm service makes everything 100/100! Definitely recommending this to my CBD friends😊 They even have lunch sets, hidden gem located near Telok Ayer mrt. Do make a reservation as the place has limited seatings!!! (don't say I didn't mention hehe)
