Most authentic sichuan cuisine I've had in Singapore! The dishes portion Soooo big! superb value for the money! Love the lamb rib😋 not greasy and meat just came off easily from the bone! And the three color beef! Love the MALA spice, beef is so tender and mouth-watering
View on GoogleBack again at my favorite spot! I’ve been coming to Si Wei Mao Cai for years because the flavors are so consistent. They have great weekday discounts from Mon-Thu,I just got 22% off the Triple Flavored Beef, which was super tender. Also love the half-portion option so I can try more dishes without overordering. If you want authentic Sichuan food , must try here
View on GoogleI’ve been craving authentic Sichuan food for a while, and this place absolutely delivered. The flavors here are the real deal bold, numbing, and packed with that signature mala kick that reminds me of the street-side maocai stalls in Chengdu. You can tell they use high-quality Sichuan peppercorns and chili oil because the aroma alone hits you as soon as the bowl arrives. And just to put it out there I'm originally from Sichuan, so I like to think I know what I'm talking about when it comes to this cuisine. This honestly tastes like home. The broth, the spice blend, the balance of heat and numbness it's all spot on. It actually made me a little homesick in the best possible way. Portion sizes are incredibly generous. and honestly, it could have easily fed two people. Every ingredient was fresh, perfectly cooked, and soaked up all that rich, spicy broth. The veggies still had a nice crunch, and the meat was tender and flavorful. Service was another pleasant surprise the staff were super welcoming and attentive throughout our meal. They took time to explain the spice levels and helped us customize our order since it was our first time there. Even when the place got busy, they kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I left completely satisfied and already planning my next visit. If you're looking for hearty portions, genuine Sichuan taste, and a cozy atmosphere with great service, this spot is a must try. Highly recommended for anyone who loves bold, spicy food or wants to explore authentic Chinese maocai. Five stars without a doubt!
View on GoogleVisited for dinner with a friend. Ordered spicy squid tentacles, cumin beef, twice cooked pork, dry fried green beans, egg fried rice and a fresh coconut.Food came quite fast. Portions were reasonable for sharing.Spicy squid and cumin beef were the better dishes. Both well seasoned and cooked properly. Not too oily.Egg fried rice was simple but well done. Rice was fluffy and not clumped together.Fresh coconut was a nice addition. Good quality and refreshing after the meal.Overall a decent Sichuan meal. Pricing is quite standard for the area. Would revisit if nearby.
View on GoogleFound my new favorite spot for a spicy food fix! Their Sichuan Maocai is amazing. You get to pick all your favorite veggies and meats, and they cook it for you in this super aromatic, spicy, and numbing broth that's just to die for. It's quick, customizable, and so, so good. Seriously, check it out if you love spicy food.
