A great spot for a casual omakase experience that doesn’t break the bank. The overall quality of the sushi was enjoyable, and it’s a good option if you’re looking to try omakase without the usual hefty price tag. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable for a relaxed meal. If there’s one area that could be improved, it would be the sushi rice. The rice is such an important part of omakase, and refining the texture and seasoning would elevate the overall experience. Nonetheless, a solid place for an affordable omakase and a good introduction to the experience.
View on GoogleI was a bit hesitant to book this place after reading some of the reviews, but I decided to go ahead and try it for my BFF’s birthday lunch celebration. Overall, the meal was good. We were served a wide variety of sushi and felt really well-fed by the end of the session. Personally, I found the sushi to be fresh and enjoyable. As mentioned in other reviews, the chef wasn’t very interactive. Also, because they run multiple seating sessions, the pace of the meal felt quite fast and a little rushed at times. That said, considering the price and the quality of the food, it balanced out for me. The price is nett without additional charges, which makes it very good value for money. Overall, I would still give it a good rating mainly because of the food.
View on GoogleI’ve seen Ryo Sushi Omakase on my social media for quite long now but it’s only recently that my friends & I decided to try. We opted for their $98 nett omakase which has no Uni, & we were super full. The array of food was super delicious & I was thankful that they’re able to accommodate my no-rice request due to my health issues. I don’t normally frequent omakase & I would much prefer to communicate with the chefs, but because it’s been a long time since I’ve seen my girls, we were mostly talking to each other. Overall, the place is really homey & staffs & Chefs were really great & nice. Definitely recommend& will be back again!
View on GoogleFood is very good , fresh and delicious. Special highlight to the unique crabmeat handroll that Ryo sushi has. One piece is simply not enough. I would rank it up there with the uni sushi 🍣. Definitely have to try.
View on GoogleFirst proper omakase and it was good. From the freshness, the price and this scientific creation soya sauce foam (what?!)… I enjoyed it. I can understand why people keep coming back. Have to bring mum here! Thank you chef and crew.
