Review for Rod Dee Thai Cafe Rating: 5/5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Rod Dee Thai Cafe at Teo Hong Road, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The location is incredibly convenient, right opposite the MRT exit, making it super easy to get to. The menu boasts a wide variety of Thai dishes, so there's something for everyone. We decided to go with some classic street food favorites: white rice with fried pork and basil leaves, plus a large deep-fried fish. It tasted just like the authentic street food you'd find in Bangkok—so flavorful and delicious! The portion sizes were also very generous, more than enough for the two of us to enjoy fully. What really adds to the charm is the ambiance. The cafe is set in a refurbished old shop house, giving it a cozy feel with wonderful old Nanyang vibes. It’s such a unique and atmospheric space that makes the dining experience even more special. On top of all that, the pricing is surprisingly wallet-friendly, especially for this location. Great food, great vibes, great value—this place definitely deserves a 5-star rating! I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

I had an amazing birthday lunch at Rod Dee Thai Cafe with my family. The lady boss and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic—it truly felt like I was dining in Thailand. The cafe is cosy, clean, and has a warm atmosphere. I also loved the thoughtful touch of providing childhood games such as five stones and colourful cubes to keep guests entertained while waiting for their food. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely love to come back and dine here again.

The food tastes great! For those that love Thai food, this is the place to visit. The ambience is good. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's located just opposite Outram MRT (Dorsett Hotel). Highly recommended!

Grilled pork in Thai style is good, tender and juicy every mouth is very flavourful. Mango salad is good too, not overly sweet or spicy. Highly recommend the mango smoothies and the omelette must try. The rest of the menu is so so only. Pandan chicken feel like is been reheated many times and the oil use to deep fried the spring roll doesn’t taste fresh

The basil chicken rice was pretty good, but the green thai milk tea was perfect. Sweet but not overly so, the lunch deal was pretty worth it.
