Came here for a lunch celebration with a group of 8. The food was delicious with a wide variety of choices. The black squid ink pasta was especially memorable. One of the staff was very cheerful and really brightened the atmosphere. It was quite busy during lunch, and I also enjoyed the Italian music playing in the background. A lovely dining experience!

Ordered the Beef Ravioli Con Carne with Gorgonzola Cheese Cream Sauce as well as the Stracci Pasta in Saffron Cream Sauce with Scallops and Prawns. Was actually torn between beef ravioli and the duck ragu because I like ragu a lot but I would like to think it was a great choice to get the beef ravioli. Hearty, rich beef stuffed into the ravioli then paired with the slightly salty but pungent and creamy gorgonzola cheese cream sauce. Might have been a mistake for me to try this before tasting the saffron dish as my entire mouth was just coated with the flavours from the beef and the cheese sauce. Stracci pasta is like irregular sheets of pasta, and a saffron cream sauce is also not your traditional pasta sauce but it came together very well. Earthy, slightly sweet with a little bitterness that would have been a great combination with the seafood options, but my taste buds were probably in comatose state after the ravioli. She felt the sauce and seafood options went well together though (did not try the ravioli yet). Portions were generous, service staff were both very friendly and attentive. I think the most important was that both dishes came out at the same time, as this meant the kitchen actually timed it such that we wouldn't have one pasta dish cooling off before the other comes. Deco is a little dated, but food wise, definitely a must try.

Ordered the signature squid ink pasta and a stracci pasta... Cost around 65 dollars after grab dine out discount. Although both pastas are flavourful, it did not wow me. Nonetheless, they are still pretty solid and comparable to other italian restaurants out there. Seafood are fresh and the pasta at the correct texture. Service is also pretty attentive while the ambience retains its old charm. Nice for slow dinners or dates.

At Pasta Brava, the atmosphere felt warm and easygoing, with lighting that made the space comfortable without being too dim. I really enjoyed the duck ragu and the mushroom cream risotto; both were satisfying and well portioned. The lobster bisque was also a nice start to the meal, and overall it was a place I’d happily return to.

My last visit was almost 20 years ago. Although Italian cuisine wasn’t really my kind of food, but my memory of the food here then was impressive. Tonight I finally brought my Italian food lover wife to this restaurant, and Lydia the manager made our date night really special with her impeccable service and recommendations. First time I truly appreciate Italian food and my wife loves it. Crispy Risotto Balls with spicy Arrabbiata Sauce and Parmesan Cheese was amazing. The taste and texture was surprisingly good. Grilled Marinated Pork Tomahawk with Potato Mash and Sauteed Vegetables was also a pleasant surprise for us. The pork was really tender on the inside and crusty on the outside. We still trying to figure out what is the black sauce that goes so well with this dish. I risked sounding like a paid advertisement but I have to mention Stracci Pasta with Saffron Cream Sauce, Prawns & Scallops. As Lydia puts it, it is the Italian version of our Meehoon Kueh. It is thin and soft yet not mushy. The saffron cream sauce is delightful but not overpowering. We will have to bring some friends on our next visit to try out the other dishes soon. Cannot afford to wait another 20 years for sure 😅
