Oven Fried Chicken really surprised me in the best way, especially with their baked chicken and corn cheese. This dish is straight up comfort food done right. The chicken comes out juicy on the inside with that slightly crisp, roasted skin that feels lighter than typical fried chicken. There is a 30mins wait for this though so be prepared but it’s well worth the time. Half a chicken for 2-3 pax is sufficient. But the real star is the corn cheese situation going on underneath and around it. You get this creamy, buttery mix of sweet corn and melted cheese that’s bubbling hot, slightly smoky, and borderline addictive. Scoop it together with the chicken and it just hits different. I really love this variation although it may not be the most popular dish. The sweetness of the corn balances the savoury richness of the cheese, and somehow it doesn’t feel too jelak even after a few bites.
View on GoogleThe fried chicken tasted good, although there were quite a few pieces with dark red spots near the bone. The kimchi pancake was soft and delicious. The ambience was great too—it was spacious, quiet, and relaxing since there were only a few diners. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and had a pleasant dining experience.
View on GoogleCozy spot with mouth watering chicken. We ordered three versions of the chicken and the roasted version was our favorite. The skin was aromatic and has a delightful crunch. The meat was moist and well-seasoned. Worth the 30 min cook time. Go for thigh meat but the breast in the Crunch Chicken was moist too. The dipping sauces work well but we also appreciate the difference in flavor between the 3 versions of chicken we ordered. The plastic gloves provided was a thoughtful gesture.
View on GoogleSoso food… - Ginseng chicken soup with rice: soup was bland, had to add in a lot of salt and pepper to make it more tasty. Mixing the glutinous rice in the soup made it better too - Tteokbokki: bad, do not order. Texture of the rice cake was weird and too soft, and sauce tasted like tomato sauce - Fried chicken: nice - Soy fried chicken: average - Spicy friend chicken: didn’t try - Steamed egg: not the best - Ramyeon: heard it was yummy
View on GoogleI would like to express my sincere appreciation to Hui for his excellent customer service. During my visit, I accidentally dropped my utensils on the floor, and before I even asked for assistance, Hui immediately noticed and kindly replaced them for me. His attentiveness and initiative truly impressed me. He consistently serves customers with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to provide the best experience possible. I am a regular customer at this branch not only because it is conveniently located near my workplace, but more importantly because of the outstanding customer service provided by the team.
