The spicy cockles were really addicting, could have solo-ed just rice with it! Had some other stuff such as the tofu, salted egg chicken, hokkien mee and fried pork. Salted egg chicken was a bit of a miss as it wasn't as fragrant, and I tasted some milk powder in its mix if I'm not mistaken (like the Korean fried chicken kind!) Hokkien mee was notably good; side serving of lard which was more than welcome!

Food was good. Enjoyed it. Rated the whole experience 1 star due to the bill. La La and Patin Fish were stated as $15 & $28 in the menu respectively. When we got the bill, we were charged $16 & $30 for both items. The waitress explained that she told us the La La is the bigger type but didn’t tell us the price will be increased. She also said the fish is a bigger fish and that’s why the price is an extra $2. We were not told about the extra charges when we ordered. The irony is the Chinese saying at the bottom of the bill about honesty. Well, since there’s no honesty from this restaurant, we shall not be back.

Local Chinese style restaurant serving up some stir fry dishes, noodles and porridge. Very local and authentic Chinese casual restaurant with quite a variety of dishes. Food overall is merely average. Frequented mostly by crowd after drinking or partying so can imagine a popular spot after hours. A tad pricey for normal Chinese food. Instagram @iambruisedlee

Their white lor mee makes for a superb drunk food after drinks and clubbing. Friends brought me here, and as much as the entire place looks super old and slightly unhygienic, it's actually alright. We added on their hokkien noodles, and a fried long beans with prawn paste. 40 bucks for a 3pax meal, you can't really complain.
