The best Jjampong I’ve ever had in SG. Very umami seafood like broth, not very spicy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Best to book in advance for dinner~ We did not have BBQ, 1 hr dining + free haagendaz
View on GoogleDefinitely a place for friends and family gatherings. The food is absolutely delicious! Must order their Set meal. My family had an enjoyable dinner and we are sure to come back again. Must remember to reserve your table to avoid disappointment.
View on GoogleI used to like O.bba and it's offerings. To me, this was one of the few places I could go to get genuinely good and generous Korean/Chinese fusion food that stuck true to its roots. As of 2026, this is no longer the case. If before, the cultural ratio of the food was 60% Korean and 40% Chinese. Today, the script has flipped entirely. It's now 80% Chinese, 20% Korean. A cosplayer of Korean fusion cuisine. Perhaps it is a business decision to suit an evolving customer base, but if that's the case, then unfortunately, as someone who loves authentic Korean food, I will no longer be a part of their consumer base. Does the food still taste good? Sure, some dishes were okay. The fried rice was fragrant and had flavor. The fried chicken and fried dumplings were decent. The seafood cheese pancake is a far cry from yesteryears, where the only seafood to be seen is squid. I sorely miss the inclusion of prawns, which added a much needed dimension to the dish. The Jjamppong, my personal favorite a few years back, now tasted heavily diluted and no longer warrants a recommendation. Even the noodles were no longer bouncy and chewy, instead reminding me of instant noodles that came out of the pot one minute too early. The only saving grace are the staff there. Honestly, if I wanted good authentic Chinese food, I'd go to a Chinese restaurant. TLDR; skip if you're looking for authentic Korean fusion food.
View on GoogleVisited on Saturday for early lunch. Bbq is at ground level, non-bbq dining is 1 flight of stairs up. Seafood jjajang myeon is well portioned with squid, shrimp and pork cubes with some spicy kicked in after awhile, black bean sauce different taste compare to the standard jjajang myeon but still nice flavor. Portion wise is a little too much for petite eater. For the gyoza wise its slight pricey and taste wise would prefer the jap gyoza more as less chunky and the outer skin not 100% deep fried.
View on GoogleHad the jjajangmyeon but was a little disappointed. Felt like their standards have dropped after opening more outlets. Taste is okay, but noodles and onions are far from the chewiness and softness i.e., melt in the mouth that I was looking for. Service was also quite slow. Pancake was good but it was a long wait.. Our spoon only came after asking for it twice.
