This noodle shop is what you should not miss out if you pay a visit to chinatown in Singapore. This shop is not spacious, but the ambience is good. The food selection is wide, and all of them are homemade. You can even taste the hand pulled ramen at here too. The chef is very talented, and you can feel how much sincerity and efforts he has put into the dishes, which make all the dishes turn out outstandingly from his hands. All the food are well presented, in big portion, and the price is reasonable. The service is utmost as well. Every visit marks an unforgettable dining experience to us. Highly reckon!

😪/🥹 I think if you’re gonna charge $20 for 8 small prawns, you at least have to devein them, and then maybe try not to overcook them. HKM was interesting with its textures, the portion was just sad. Red oil dumplings were sweet and not spicy.

CASH ONLY restaurant. I want to put this upfront to help Google users make a quick decision if this is the right restaurant for them. Do not come here if you don’t have at least $100 in cash with you. I don’t disagree with other reviewers that the food is tasty and authentic. In fact, my friends and I were happy to have chance upon this restaurant when our 4 dishes were served. We ordered the signature dumpling in chili oil, fried noodles with prawns, dou miso (pea sprout vegetables) and their special chicken that’s only available during the CNY period. These were recommended by the lady server, whom I must admit, is very friendly and efficient and she’s well acquainted with the menu, thus what is their most popular dishes. Then came the bill. $105. What??? The dumpling is $12.80 The noodles is $11.80. That’s according to the printed menu. The vegetable dish isn’t on the menu. So I’m not sure how much it costs, probably $20? Which is very expensive for greens. As for the special crispy chicken, we only saw a laminated photo “menu” with all the so-called special dishes but no prices were written on it. We didn’t have any drinks except 2 bottles of mineral water which isn’t free, Our bill of $105 for a party of 3 is exorbitant considering what we ordered. So the half chicken ( it looks like a half, or quarter but definitely not a whole chicken) is $68???!. When we asked for the detailed bill, the lady server scribbled on some invoice paper the 4 dishes we ordered. ( similar to several other reviewers’ experience) But there was no prices tagged to each item. In the end, we are still not sure what is the itemized value of each. There is a lack of transparency in their business dealing. If I walked through our experience from the moment we stepped in: 1. The “cash only “ mode of payment was quite inconspicuous. 2. The menu is half baked - the special dishes did not have prices clearly labeled beside it. This is an act of intentionally misleading the customers. 3. Shouldn’t all restaurants provide their customers with itemized bill? This is not a hawker center. In Chinese saying, this is a “black shop”. So, diners beware. I’m sure there are many other choices in Chinatown with better business ethics.
