Best value and authentic taste!" • Food & Drink: SOJU PROMOTION (2+1): At only $40++ for 3 bottles, this is probably the best deal in the area. It’s the perfect spot for heavy drinkers or a fun night out. SEASONED CHICKEN (Yangnyeom): Absolutely delicious. The glaze has the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. It’s a must-order every single time. A great plus is that you can choose between Half or Whole chicken, making it an ideal side dish even for smaller groups. FROZEN PORK BELLY (Naengsam): My current obsession. If you’re unfamiliar with "Naengsam," it’s a classic Korean style of thinly sliced frozen pork belly. It grills up super fast and gets that perfect crispy texture that pairs incredibly well with kimchi and soju. • Service & Specials: The staff is quick with refills. A huge plus is their rotating event menu—they change their special promotions periodically, so there’s always something new and affordable to try (like the current Naengsam deal). The soju 2+1 (40++) deal is great value. I think the seasoned chicken tastes the most like what you get in Korea! It’s Pericana style. Lately I’ve been hooked on Naengsam.
View on GoogleWe ordered: 1. The korean roasted chicken (spicy) - the broth was really good; we asked for a fried rice add-on which was done on the spot, but it didn’t have any salt :/ the chicken itself was decent. nothing to rave over but it the soup made up for it. Needs at least 4 pax to finish. 2. The kimchi pancake - really good tbh; more than enough for 4-5 pax as an appetiser The free flow sides were really great. I loved the egg mayo especially.
View on GoogleWe went to have Dakbokkeumtang (spicy braised chicken) for dinner yesterday, and it was absolutely delicious. It tasted just like authentic Korean food! The sauce was so flavorful that we even wanted to ask for a refill. We ordered the spicy version, but it wasn’t as spicy as I expected, still it had just the right amount of spice to enjoy comfortably. The side dishes like kimchi and cucumber salad were great too, and the steamed egg was fluffy. Both the owner and staff were friendly, and we are already planning to visit again next week! It’s the kind of place I hope stays around for a long time.
View on GoogleGood spread of Korean food for their lunch buffet. The menu changes everyday. Value for money at $14++. We went there a 2nd time and the waitress forgot to serve us water. Ice cream is complimentary at the exit after you pay your bill.
View on GoogleA friend recommended this place to us and it is really great! This is one of the more hidden bbq places along Tras street, whereas along Tanjong pagar street you have the more popular ones. So this restaurant only accepts reservations and seldom allows walk-ins unless someone cancelled. The premium beef set seemed little at first for the 4 of us, but we attest to the quality of the meat. The grill is a charcoal one, and they have a small area for the steam to rise, so the cooking technique is unique and the meat doesn’t burn easily. The meat platter also comes with a stew, which we chose sundubu jjigae. The soup was hearty and full of ingredients. The staff will cook for you. And the 반찬 was nice too, free refills. The kimchi pancake might be a miss, as it is quite thick and not the crispy kind that I prefer. We also ordered the octopus and pork belly slices with cheese dip. The cheese wasn’t melty at first so we put it on the hit plate to make it more molten. It tasted better afterwards. Overall we would come back here again.
