This is a relatively new restaurant. So the team doesn't seem like sort it out just yet. The service is bad and the food is so-so comparing to the real deal in golden mile complex. To try if you never have Thai steamboat and still seek to some decent place. Otherwise don't bother go straight to golden mile complex

I rated this place (2.5/5) Mookata literally means “pork skillet” in Thai. It's thai version of bbq and steamboat. The good thing about this place is that it has buffet, set and ala-cart menu, thou I'm not a big fan of buffet nowadays as I'm getting old, cant really "fight" with those youngster in terms of quantity haha. I didnt managed to try the beef as some of us doesnt eat beef. But what the hell, Mookata signature should be their pork isnt it, Moooooo ka ta... haha These place is quite average for me as the quality is average only, I was expecting the meat to have natural sweetness since it doesnt use much or no marinate for its meat. But I didnt get to taste that. I'm a meat lover, I need to have some meat in my every meal, but I guess that day, I like the vegetable more than the meat. This is my personal preference, if you have a non-marinate meat, you need quality meat for its natural sweetness or spend some effort on the dipping sauce. the special dipping sauce wasnt fantastic either, what a let-down. We try everything on the menu (except beef), everything is average. But the only good thing in that buffet I like is the drinks!! They serve quality ice milk tea and ice chrysanthemum. Last but not least, the service is quite prompt but friendliness is average. And do mind the parking if you are driving, Keong Saik parking is very limited and DO put enough parking coupon, this is a super hot zone for the "lady in white" :D
