My friend wanted to try samgyetang at this restaurant, so I joined in. There was a short queue before I was greeted to level 2 for dining. The ambience was great, and it looked like a fine dining concept. They have set meal offer as well as ala carte. I wanted to try something new for a side dish, so we opted for ala-carte; it was perilla and beauty soup with buckwheat crepe samhap. The soup was flavourful but it wasn'tup to the expectations, and they allowed to refill soup. The soup used for refill was ginseng soup, much more flavourful than its original. Their soup wasn't hot but warm. They have a 90-minute dining time limit, which I think too short to enjoy the meal fullness. I paid an expensive price but only limited to 90 minutes. Don't sound worthy.

First time trying this place that everyone’s raving about - I can now see why it’s so popular. The chicken is extremely tender and falls off the bone; the soup is thick and tasty and the portion is generous. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken as the side and it’s just so-so, the soup is much better. Antioxidant berry tea is soothing.

We recently visited the newest branch of Modu, and it was an incredibly satisfying experience from start to finish. We dropped by during the later part of the Good Friday afternoon, after the lunch crowd had passed, which made for a more relaxed and comfortable dining atmosphere. The Spicy Samgyetang and Yang Vitality Samgyetang were both exceptionally rich, flavourful, and deeply comforting. Each bowl felt nourishing and revitalising, with layers of herbal depth that were both hearty and indulgent. They were so delicious that my wife and I each finished an entire chicken on our own. We also appreciated the free refill of clear soup, which was warm, light, and flavourful on its own. We opted for the set, which came thoughtfully curated with ginseng soju, appetisers, tangerine tea, and dessert, making the meal feel complete and well-balanced. Every component complemented the main dishes perfectly. The staff were very thoughtful and attentive, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout. They regularly refilled our drinks and took the time to explain our dishes and how best to enjoy them, which made the experience even more enjoyable. To top it all off, we were pleasantly surprised with an extra treat — ice cream from Tofu G Gelato, located just next door. It was light, refreshing, and a unique way to end the meal on a sweet note. We are already looking forward to our next visit to try their classic herbal and beauty collagen soups. A highly enjoyable dining experience that we would gladly return for.

We had the set.. came with 2 soups (we chose Perilla Seed and Beauty). Both were good.. hearty and comforting. Also got the grilled abalone. Great service as well!
