This stall specialises in Chinese desserts. They expanded their menu from hot desserts to now include shaved ice and savory pastries. I come for their hot desserts. We had the almond cream, walnut cream and black sesame cream. I like the almond cream and walnut cream the most. It was velvety smooth and tasted great. They occupy 3 shop units and are airconditioned. Often times, you will see tourists coming with their guide books which recommend this place. Nice place to have a dessert or two while escaping the hot weather outside.

View on GoogleA peaceful and quieter dessert shop just off the busy streets of Chinatown, serving traditional desserts. The chendol was freshly prepared, and though a bit pricey, it was made with snow ice and came with a bottle of serve-your-own gula melaka. A good place to bring friends and family for a dessert after dinner or shopping in the area.
View on GoogleThis Is a hidden Gem here in Chinatown here located in Singapore. By coming in here and sitting down with family, you're stepping into part of history. If you're familiar with the Class 302 in the US or a Meet Fresh. Sitting down and dessert is basically ready. Staff is fast but doesn't crowd you. The paint around the room seems to be peeling. We ordered: 1) chendol shaved ice (pandan jelly and the robust flavor) plus coconut nectar syrup makes you feel guilty when my mouth is full of the molasses like syrup. The herbal taste of the shaved ice brings enough contrast for me to keep scooping. b) black sesame shaved ice is very sesame-y so you definitely Mars the right choice if you want that roasted sesame taste but in ice.
