Lobster aglio olio was shockingly terrible. There was sand in the lobster and I would bite into sand while eating the pasta. The pasta noodle was flat, and almost hard, can tell the texture did not help blend with the oil at all. Atmosphere was also not great as it was just 2010s pop song blasting really loudly the whole time, made me feel like I was dining in H&M.

The wagyu oxtail stew n chicken dishes were delicious n well done, with generous portions. Their staff were courteous n helpful, n the restaurant ambience was warm with roof rafters n old style decor. Very good overall!

It's a nice and quiet place, but we didn't really enjoy the live music. Since our table was right next to the speakers, it was too loud and we couldn't hear each other well. On the bright side, the pizza was great!

Food here is bad. Worst Italian food I’ve ever eaten in Singapore and it’s overpriced for the quality. One eg, the Seafood pizza isnt flavourful, barely has any seafood, dough is hard, cheese doesn’t blend well with the rest of ingredients, and there’s chili in it. Wasn’t expecting chili in any authentic Italian pizza. We had way better seafood pizza elsewhere for around the same price point. If you’re expecting authentic Italian food, this place isnt the right place for you.

My fav cuisine, this time at Mazzo, Club Street. The antipasti is a generous portion, on the menu it says for 2 pax, we are 4 and still didn't finish it all. In general I liked everything on it, except the Mortadella, but that's just a personal preference. The calamari was on point, I would order a plate on this own the next time. As with the chicken wings. The arancini was disappointing, risotto was too dry and not cheesy enough. But to be fair, I haven't found many other places that does arancini well. The Tuna Tartare was good, well balanced by the creamy avocado. We ordered 3 mains to share. My fav was the Beef Cheeks but I might not have liked it as much if we didn't share it. The meat was so tender it falls off the fork but I imagine myself being sick of it after 2 slices. The Seafood Aglio Olio was a bit disappointing for me, felt like something I could cook myself. They were generous with the fresh seafood, big succulent prawns, mussels, squid but it just didn't wow as a dish. Pizza was good, amazing cheese pull, thin crust but the pepperoni was abit too salty and I would have preferred the crust to be more chewy. We were also offered free drinks as part of the Ladies Night promo (2 glasses per main, choice of cocktails, mocktails, selected housewine and soda). We were too full by then but for celebration sake, we ordered a dessert to share. Between the Tiramisu and Cheesecake, we decided eventually on the cheesecake because it was the chef recommendation. Left me wondering if we should have gone for the Tiramisu. It was like too heavy to be a Choc mousse cake, yet not fluffy creamy enough as a cheesecake. Just didn't cut it for us. The ice cream also had ice bits in it so might have been in the freezer for too long. I love the Christmas decor and festive vibes though. Ambience was good but as with such shophouse type of venues, echo is often an issue especially if it's a full house. Service was friendly and warm, the staff are all full of smiles. I might return, to try the Crab Pasta, and perhaps the Tiramisu this time.
