I've wanted to try Man Man Unagi ever since it first opened, but I never had the chance. Today, I finally made it! I ordered the Hitsumabushi Set and it was absolutely delicious. The unagi was perfectly grilled crispy on the outside, tender and flavourful on the inside. It definitely lived up to the long wait and satisfied my cravings. It was a wonderful meal, and I'll definitely be back!

(Uploaded the QR code for their menu & screenshots of food menu - enjoy!) Been meaning to try Man Man Unagi for the longest time - glad it didn't disappoint! The restaurant wasn’t the easiest to locate, but that honestly added to its charm - it feels like a hidden gem tucked away from the crowd. Perfect as a cosy lunch spot amidst a busy weekday :) I ordered the mixed Hitsumabushi set and really enjoyed it 😍 The unagi slices were thick and chunky, and the generous portions made it well worth the money. What I liked most was that it wasn’t overly seasoned, so you could really taste the freshness and richness of the eel without it feeling too heavy. So yummy!!! Service was also great! The servers were polite and efficient. I went on a Friday during lunchtime and the restaurant was only about half full, which made for a very comfortable dining experience. Food came in under 10 minutes too, which was a lovely surprise :) This is definitely a spot I’d return to; in fact, I'd probably rate it my favourite one in Singapore to have my unagi cravings fixed 🥰 It may be better suited for smaller groups though, as a larger crowd could make the space feel a little cramped and less conducive for intimate conversations.

we got 1x hitsumabushi and 1x large histumabushi as an unagi lover, i highly recommend! one of if not the best unagi ive had in singapore. perfectly grilled such that it is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside! the best part of the meal was definitely adding the rice and unagi with the dashi, ultimate unagi experience. the soup and pickles that came with the set was good too. as a greedy unagi devourer, the large set had just the right amount of unagi. i would imagine that the original set would leave me wanting more unagi!! in any unagi rice situation, i am always concerned about the unagi to rice ratio. i ate the large set with less rice and i had some rice left so.. i GUESS if i had eaten the normal set with normal rice, the ratio would be less ideal rated the service a 3 because the waitress was pretty rude lol, but i dont want to harp on that! all i will say is, if you’re looking for good unagi, come! if you’re looking for a good service experience, maybe dont come😅

Getting the counter seats is perfect for seeing the chef grill the unagi live in action. Love the unagi here, it’s charred and crispy on the outside. Price is on the steeper end, costs about $100+ for two pax. First had this back when they just open many years back. Still find myself frequenting here whenever I feel like having unagi don. Definitely recommended!

Good unagi place with Michelin star rating! Good and fresh unagi with authentic taste. Staff were very friendly as well as the chefs in the open concept unagi grilling kitchen. Restaurant was quite quiet as there were only a few parties dining in at that time but still would recommend to make a reservation.
