A restaurant with heart, craft, and unforgettable flavours. Dining at Mad for Sucre is like stepping into a storybook where each dish has a narrative and every ingredient is treated with reverence. They are incredibly thoughtful about allergens and ingredient sourcing, and it shows. Every dish we tried was delicious—some truly unforgettable. The oyster ice cream, made 100% from raw oysters using their own techniques, sounded strange but turned out rich, creamy, mellow, and savoury. The Cambodian pepper they source through NGO ties from past volunteering gave a distinctive spiced kick. The tomato soup was perfectly tart, thick, and subtly enhanced with pesto. The chicken pâté macarons were airy yet deep in flavour, finished off with the perfect slice of green apple. If you want to experience how simple ingredients—like tomato, scallop, or salmon—can be elevated through sheer culinary skill and soul, this is the place. It’s a restaurant filled with heart and a thousand stories, and you can taste it in every bite. A huge thank you to Eric for sharing so much with us and making it such a memorable evening. Can’t wait to return.

Had dinner with my close friends at this restaurant last Saturday. We were attracted by their French-inspired semi-buffet special menu. I personally love their "house-made french pate of truffle & chicken liver" paired with sourdough! (Unlimited servings too 😊) Perfect combination! All the entrée we ordered are perfectly cooked too! We ended our night with their signature dessert "Good Arvo" and "Spunky" -- So GOOD MUST TRY!! The tea pairing adds a delightful touch! Highly recommend this restaurant and I can see myself returning very soon!

I recently dined at Mad about Sucre for their 13 course spring tasting menu, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. This gem perfectly blends Asian and French cuisine, creating a unique and delectable menu that left my taste buds in awe. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was a masterful fusion of flavors, beautifully presented and bursting with creativity. The Foie Gras, in particular, was a standout—perfectly balanced and exquisitely prepared. What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. They made excellent recommendations and ensured that every detail was taken care of, making our dining experience seamless and enjoyable. The ambiance was elegant yet welcoming, making it the perfect spot for both special occasions and casual dining. I highly recommend Mad about Sucre to anyone looking for an extraordinary culinary adventure. Five stars all the way!
