Came here for the Amex Experiences set meal for two. Its a 7 course meal. Every dish was flavourful, and quite innovative in flavours, techniques and ingredients used. But the portions are very small. Service was attentive in refilling water. But the food came quite slowly. It was thoughtful that the staff added a candle to the chocolate tart dessert to celebrate my wife's birthday. Hope that the portions can be made bigger! Recommend this place
View on GoogleMy first time at this cozy restaurant for lunch with some friends recently. Pleasantly and wonderfully surprised by the good service and good quality food! Everything was perfect down to the drinks. Special shoutout to service staff Russ, he is friendly, funny and knowledgeable - he helped us pair the in house non alcoholic drinks and recommended the chef’s curated tapas and desserts that were absolutely yummylicious for our palate. Highly recommend this gem for all occasions. Ps. If can’t decide on what to order, just leave it to the creative chef. Best decision ever!! Thank you💞 Latido for the memorable experience
View on GoogleWe tried Table for Two by Platinum. 7-course set menu for two, exclusively curated for Platinum by American Express. • - Chocolate con Feijoa Chocolate tart paired with Colombian feijoa ice cream. • Dishes were well paced throughout lunch. Portions were decent, and we were quite full by dessert. • Service staff were attentive throughout, changing plates between dishes. Definitely looking forward to the next visit. @cheechin.chew on Instagram
View on GoogleFood was promising but could use more acidity, wished the flavours were stronger. Check the menu with the restaurant before you go because the one online is not up to date and if you have certain dietary restrictions, your selection may be extremely limited. Portions are small. Pan de la Casa is delicious but tiny at $8, enough for one hungry person. Bocados de Tiradito ($22) comes in four kueh pie tee shells. Perhaps I’m used to Peruvian food so the flavours seemed mild. We had another ceviche which was also a small portion and not as punchy as I’d like. The Patacon con Todo was ok. The Pescado Relleno ($62) was nicely cooked, but well cooked fish can be found in many places. The Tarte de Chocolate ($18) with feijoa was interesting for the fruit, and the chocolate was rich. All in all I expected more for over $100 a person. Maybe check out its spin-off bakery instead, the bread was the highlight here for me.
View on GoogleLatido had been on my list for some time, though the experience fell short of expectations for a Michelin Guide–listed restaurant. The menu is varied, with the appetisers being the highlight, particularly the plantain and burrata, which stood out at our table. Drinks were reasonably priced, but service timing could be improved; our G&T took close to 30 minutes and there was some uncertainty around wine availability. Proactive communication at the start would have helped set expectations. Service, overall, was the main area of concern. While the team was courteous, the execution felt inconsistent. Dishes were cleared prematurely without prompt, which felt rushed as though like an F1 Grand Prix. A relatively young waitress clad in a white shirt had swept in mid-way through Mum’s chicken heart appetisers, removing the skewers off her plate without prior prompt and proceeded to do the same for the rest of the table. Disruptive, and uncalled for. Additionally, there were lapses in food handling that detracted from the overall impression. One instance in particular, where a server handled a dish with fingers placed on the rim on one of our condiments that accompanied our corn cakes, raised concerns around hygiene and left a lingering sense of discomfort for the remainder of the evening. In all, while the menu shows promise, the experience was overshadowed by inconsistent service and overlooked details. It falls short of what one might expect from a Michelin Guide–listed establishment.
