Convenient location. I got the Kaya toast set. The coffee size was good. The set was fine, it was standard. But attitude of the Malay or Indian girl (wears glasses) at the register was SUBSTANDARD. She looked and acted like a very aggressive person. Least unfriendly Kopitiam staff ever. I go to different kopitiams in Chinatown..whether very local or chain store like Ya Kun.. The girl at the register made me feel unwelcome. The staff at Ya Kun are always friendly and nice even if there are 100 people there.

The sweet toast at this shop has more filling than other shops so it's a bit too sweet for me. The toast with ham and cheese is more to my taste. The coffee is also very delicious What impressed me most was that the staff was very friendly

delicious milktea, noodles and french toast. They served really fast and the food still hot. The noodles is suitable for us because we cant it spicy. They opened early and clean

Simple no frills local coffee chain store that offers local delights. The location I visited in this review was in Chinatown. I ordered breakfast Singapore style. Kopi siew dai (less sugar) with kaya (coconut jam) butter toast and soft boiled eggs where I cracked them open in a small plate and added a sprinkle of white pepper and dark soy sauce. The eggs were silky smooth, toast crisp generously portioned and kopi nanyang style brewed was satisfying. The entire set was the equivalent price of a single cappucino latte in the US and more bang for your buck!

A lovely place to go for breakfast near where I'm staying. Great deal on set breakfasts which consist of toast with different fillings, 2 sift boiled eggs and a choice of either coffee or tea. I prefer my eggs hard boiled which they are happy to do. If like me you like coffee Black with no sugar make sure you tell them when ordering..The staff are very friendly and helpful which makes coming here more enjoyable. They don't take credit or debit cards so make sure you have cash
