Surprised there's even this wine bar here. Ground floor is the restaurant and seating space, but there's also a chill lounge, and a cigar bar upstairs. Quite impressed by their set up. Prices are fair, with bottle discounts on weekdays. For the location, for the vibes, and the fun conversations that the team brings while recommending; can't complain.
View on GoogleVery nice small casual and cozy place. Small menu with lovely food and extensive wine list! Team were all attentive and helpful to select a wine from the vast list. Food very well presented, good portion size and tasty!
View on GoogleIf you happen to be in Singapore, I definitely suggest you to visit this place. When I returned to Latvia, I tried to remake the amazing onion soup I tried there, (and I should add that I am a cook myself), but it could not compare to the one of theirs. Another fantastic thing about Frenchie restaurant was the staff! The waiters were there from us from the moment we stepped in until the moment we left. They were excellent! Thank you so much for the lovely experience! If I could, I would put 10 stars :D
View on GoogleSerious wine selection. Very tasty duck rillettes. creamy chicken & apple crumble were also good. The fries must be homemade to reach 5 stars :) The service was friendly.
View on GoogleWent for caviar tasting event at this French restaurant, was a delectable experience. Great food, excellent service with a bunch of very cheerful and friendly staff, nice quaint ambiance at CBD proximity. The caviar exudes opulence with its delicate, briny notes that dance on the palate. The Osetra variety, served atop blinis and a slice of Norweigian salmon delivers a buttery richness complemented by subtle bursts of sea essence. Paired with a “soft boiled egg vodka cocktail” , the experience is a symphony of indulgence, making it a luxurious highlight of the inaugural culinary journey. Tried few other dishes ; Oysters were fresh and tasted good with the home made sauce. “Seabass filet, green peas, carrots, sauce vierge” - The seabass filet, adorned with a vibrant ensemble of green peas pate and baby carrots, offers a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. The fish, delicately seared, boasts a moist and flaky texture, while the green peas and carrots contribute a crisp, garden-fresh crunch. The dish is enhanced by the presence of a sauce vierge, a zesty concoction of tomatoes, olive oil, lemon, and herbs, adding a bright and citrusy note that beautifully enhances the overall taste profile. The roast beef at this establishment is a culinary triumph, presenting succulent slices of perfectly roasted meat. Accompanied by the indulgence of free-flowing potato gratin, each bite offers a heavenly combination of tender beef and creamy, layered potatoes. The red wine sauce, velvety and robust, enhances the rich flavors of the roast beef . It's a decadent celebration of classic flavors, skillfully executed for a gratifying dining experience. Overall a wonderful experience, they could enhance the ambience with some nice background music
