The food here was overall really good. The lamb shank kritharoto was special, lamb was unbelievably tender and the risotto was cooked perfectly. The fotia combo platter was also amazing, bites of steak and onion with extremely flavorful chicken and well cooked lamb. The bell peppers that came with it, was cooked with a nice sweetness. The octopus croquettes gave me a ratatouille moment, spectacular with perfect crunch and flavor. The pita bread served was soft and slightly crunchy served fresh. However, I did not think that the spanakopita was special, and was quite let down by the lack of flavor. The Galatopita dessert was nice with the crunch complementing the rich cream. The service here was disappointing. Not only did it take forever to get their attention, but it seemed like they would look in our direction yet completely ignore us. Service needs work. Atmosphere was pleasant. Serving sizes are also a bit on the smaller side.

Had a reservation for two at Foita, and the first impression walking in was genuinely impressive. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a really nice ambience. Unfortunately, that changed quite quickly once we sat down. We immediately noticed something flying around our legs and realised it was a mosquito. My wife actually managed to kill it, but not before she got bitten about three times. Not exactly the best start to the meal. The dining environment also felt quite warm. Even with air-conditioning units running, it still felt stuffy because the windows were open, letting warm air in. I was actually sweating slightly while eating, which isn’t ideal for a full dining experience. What we ordered: • MOSHARAKI KOKKINISTO — Beef cheeks slow-cooked in tomato sauce with grilled eggplant and cheesy béchamel. The beef cheek itself was excellent, very tender and melt-in-the-mouth. However, the eggplant puree had quite a heavy cinnamon flavour, which made it lean unexpectedly sweet, almost like a dessert element rather than a savoury side. A bit too dominant for my taste. • MEDITERRANEAN DIP PLATTER — A nice option overall, especially for two people because you get to try a variety of dips in smaller portions. The dips were still quite large though, so we had to order extra bread. • KOULOURI THESSALONIKIS — The bread itself was slightly sweet, which didn’t pair that well with the saltier dips. Not bad on its own, but the combination felt a bit off. • HTAPODAKI — The octopus was tender and well-cooked, but overall too salty, and some of the charred parts were bitter from being overdone. If the seasoning and grilling were toned down a bit, it would have been much better because the texture itself was really good. The complimentary cold water was also a nice touch, thanks for that. To be fair, there’s definitely skill in the cooking and preparation. I just feel I might not fully understand Greek cuisine enough to appreciate all the intended flavour profiles. Overall, I would have given this place an extra star if not for the mosquitoes and the uncomfortable temperature in the dining area, which really affected the experience.

Greek food here amazing! From the koulouri to the meat platter, grilled sea bass, orzo pasta and chocolate lava cake, milopita. Everything on the menu looks so good that we really over-ordered! We will definitely be back for more!

Amazing Greek food and a great overall experience! The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, made us feel welcome and recommended us the chicken gyros. I especially love the dessert Galatopita. I'll be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service.

Tasty Greek food. Tried the seafood platter and although the octopus and calamari were a little too chewy, the prawn and fish made up for it. Also recommend reserving a portion of the chicken Gyros because it often sells out early. Staff are friendly and vibes are great!
