A nice brunch location to try out! We went here for a friend’s birthday and the food was decent and the coffee was flavorful. Definitely recommend a reservation ahead of time to make it a smooth visit with minimal waiting. The food was okay, and quite pricey for the quality and serving size. The standard eggs and toast brunch is expensive and I wouldn’t say worth the price for plain eggs and a slice of bread; get the avocado and toast instead for a much better meal. Definitely don’t get the hasbrowns, which are not homemade and just the frozen triangles. The service was nice - actually take your order, serve the drinks promptly, and helped with finding a lighter for the candle and sharing plates for the cake.

Visited this cafe multiple times and it has always been a great dining experience here. The food is delicious and the cafe has a cozy ambience. My favourite is their smoked salmon rosti. It always tastes fresh, flavourful and absolutely satisfying. Their coffee is also strong and aromatic. Definitely worth a visit!

Had a great brunch at Five Oars Coffee Roasters (Tanjong Pagar). The crab meat pasta was the highlight of the meal – the flavour was very unique, and the tomato sauce blended beautifully with the crab meat, making every bite rich and delicious. The chicken burger was huge and definitely satisfying. It tasted great, though it was slightly on the sweet side for my preference. The café has a very nice atmosphere with a modern, cosy vibe. It seems especially popular with younger people, making it a lively place to enjoy a meal. Overall, a great experience and I’d be happy to visit again!

Came here for a gathering on my first visit. My friends ordered the truffle fries, but they were disappointed because they weren't as good as they remembered. The fries were dry and seemed overcooked. Aina, our server, promptly took the dish back to the kitchen. Shortly after, Kingz came over with the same plate to understand what the issue was. He handled our feedback professionally and returned with a freshly prepared plate of perfectly cooked truffle fries, much to our delight. Kudos to Aina and Kingz for their excellent service recovery. Their attentiveness and professionalism turned a disappointing experience into a positive one. Cheers ! Jul 14 2026

Visited Five Oars Coffee Roasters after seeing favorable reviews. The items we tried were decent and satisfying, and the iced white coffee stood out — smooth, well-balanced and refreshing. The interior seating is quite compact, so it can get a little noisy during peak hours. Thankfully, there’s plenty of outdoor seating available if you prefer a more relaxed setting. Overall, a solid spot for coffee and casual brunch in the Tanjong Pagar area.
