Loving cakes and tarts from Fieldnotes ever since I tried them for the first time a few years back, and now they’re my go to for birthdays and special occasions! My fave flavours are Chrysanthemum Bloom, Pistachio Praline & Melon Lychee! They taste so so good and look really pretty too! 💕 Recently bought some tarts to surprise my husband for a special occasion, and he bought cakes from them to surprise me too, on the very same day! ☺️

A lovely little dessert spot with a cosy and pleasant atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy a slow afternoon. The selection of cakes and tarts was impressive, with everything displayed beautifully and looking freshly made. We tried a few items and especially enjoyed the strawberry cake both were well balanced, not overly sweet, and nicely executed. The pastries paired very well with coffee, making it a great place for a casual catch-up or quiet break. The environment was bright, clean, and thoughtfully decorated without trying too hard. Seating was comfortable and the overall vibe felt calm and welcoming. Service was also friendly and polite throughout the visit.

fieldnotes never disappoints with the quality of their cakes! i have tried both dining in & ordering delivery & their standard is always consistent. my favourite will forever be their bestseller, the honey yuzu cake. it is fresh, not too overpowering & light on the tastebuds which is perfect for those who prefer something refreshing. their outlet at maxwell is extremely aesthetic (minimalist flowery backdrop) & is amazing for photo taking. weekends are normally full house so i would recommend to visit on a weekday instead. i'll definitely be visiting again & will recommend everyone to give this place a try :)

Get 3 slices to go. I love the chiffon cakes here. They are moist and not too heavy. So far I am liking the mango yuzu, and the lychee guava. The mango yuzu is sweet enough to satisfy most people even kids. The lychee guava is sweet and very much like a cake ladies like. The osmanthus is abit subtle thought. So choosing according to the level of sweetness. But overall the cakes are pretty nice.

The taro cake tasted so good! Really loved the taro and mochi combination — it was such a nice texture and flavour pairing. Even though the cake got messed up by the delivery person, I was so impressed that another one was arranged and delivered so quickly. Thumbs up for the awesome service! Looking forward to ordering more cakes from Fieldnotes in the future :)
