Etna serves up pretty good Italian food, and while prices are definitely on the higher side, I think it's worth it. I do think they could have slightly more options on their menu, especially for the pizza though. Tried the: • Linguine al Granchio: This was really tasty, the crab bisque was delicious. However, I think I would have preferred this with a thicker kind of pasta like Tagliatelle instead. • Friarielli Provola e Salsiccia: The pizza is definitely one of the better ones I've had. The crusy was airy and chewy, with sufficient flavour. I liked the Italian pork sausage a lot too! • Pistachio Tiramisu: Alright, would have preferred it if the pistachio taste were stronger, perhaps by including the layer of pistachio in the middle at the bottom as well. There were many seats available when we visited on a weekend for lunch, so reservations aren't entirely necessary. Service was not bad and the ambience was cosy. I do think the table could have been slightly bigger though. Overall, I'll definitely be back if I'm craving solid pasta and pizza!
View on GoogleMy first time here. Brought here by my friend, Christine. Well worth it! Food was very good. Partcularly enjoyed the crab pasta and the seabass. The service staff and Alex were exceptional. Alex's wine pairing recommendations were on point. The 4 of us brought 1 bottle and took 3 from him based on his recommendation. Totally enjoyed all of it. And his energy and affability made the experience... So much so that we are cancelling our coming booking to host our overseas (Japanese) guests at another Italian establishment and host it here to experience Alex and his impeccable service. See you soon, Alex and the team!
View on GoogleWe ordered vongole, crab pasta and Etna pizza, which were all delicious and some of the best Italian food we’ve had in SG! Service was also fantastic - the staff would periodically check if everything was ok and if we enjoyed the food. I had also indicated that it was my fiance’s birthday in the reservation and they very generously served us a gelato on the house. Overall a great dining experience and will definitely come back! 😍
View on GoogleExcellent service from reception to the moment I paid my bill. The warm welcome and attentive care made all the difference. The great ambience was perfect—quiet enough for easy conversation. A special shout-out to Alex (Alessandro), who by the way is a certified sommelier who made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. I’ve been a frequent customer at Etna (Upper East Coast) for a while now, so I’m never surprised by the quality of the food and how good it tastes. i know it’s will sound kind of strange to compliment the steak in a Italian restaurant - but that was the dish i loved most followed by the burrata. My daughter and wife all votes for the Tagliatelle alla Callara which i also agree is the best paste of the 3 we ordered. all in all, its was a great meal and now that i know there is a Etna in the city i will be bringing colleagues here.
View on GoogleI went there for date night earlier this year, and honestly it's a fantastic place for a date! The food is phenomenally good. We ordered the Tagliatelle alla Callara (tagliatelle in lamb sauce) and the Etna pizza (mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, parma ham, cream cheese and pistachios). The pasta was nice but the pizza was really really good! Definitely worth trying. They also gave free focaccia bread at the start of the meal (which was amazing)!! The total damage was $70 for the meal, which is pretty decent, given the quality of food, location, service and atmosphere. Service staff were warm, friendly and attentive, and checked in on us to see if we were enjoying the food (which we were!) The restaurant is dimly lit for a more intimate atmosphere. It is also well located at Duxton, and just a short walk away from Maxwell MRT. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back!
