We had the lunch set ($19) as well as the dumpling platter which came with 5 different dumpling flavours, with 3 dumplings of each flavour. Sichuan noodles 5/5 ⭐ The lunch set, i would recommend getting the sichuan noodles or the xo seafood noodles. Personally, the sichuan noodles were not very spicy and could have had a little more kick to it. The noodles were well textured and very chewy. The eggs were standard but what stood out was the mixed pork and vegetables. It was very flavourful and the vegetables provided a nice crunch and change in texture. For dumpings, all the dumpling flavours are good except the original flavour as well as the vegetable one. The original flavour was filled with pork and vegetables. It was lackluster in terms of flavour as it tasted like any other dumplings. It could have done more with a crunchy texture on the inside as well as more pork filling, with added seasoning. The vegetable dumpling was honestly not too bad but i felt like the mayo carried the dumpling. The dumpling itself was not very good and only the crust was well done. As for the rest of the dumplings such as the prawn and crab one, smoked duck, sichuan they were amazing. All of them had a unique taste to it and a good spin to it. I really enjoyed them.

Dumpling Darlings on Amoy Street has a cozy bar-like vibe, and I liked the relaxed feel right away. The dumpling menu was varied, and the platter gave a nice way to try several different fillings, which felt pretty creative. I also had the noodles, and the overall experience was enjoyable, though not everything quite stood out. Still, it’s a solid spot if you want something a little different.

The restaurant has limited seats so making an advanced reservation is highly recommended. We were lucky to grab a table cause we were early around 6+. There was a queue from 7pm onwards. Tried the dumplings platter and thumbs up for the original flavoured! Get to enjoy the 2 for $30 cocktails and love the tea house gin.

As a dumpling lover, I’m surprised I haven’t patronised this place more often (only my second time here). This was a shiok lunch, and I will be sure to come back more often since it’s pretty close by to the office! 😋🍜🥟 Verdict? I liked all the dumplings! For the noodles, I felt the flavours of both were great but the noodles were too hard and undercooked for my liking hence docked off a few brownie points and changed the thumbs up to just an ok ☹️ Will just continue to stick to only the dumplings next time! Pictured: - Mix dumpling platter (15 pcs) 👍🏻 original dumplings 5️⃣, veggie mandus 4️⃣, fried pierogis 1️⃣, smoked duck 3️⃣, crab & prawn 2️⃣ - Sichuan pork noodles👌🏻 - XO prawn noodles👌🏻

I enjoyed my sichuan pork noodles, not so ma or spicy but yummy. I also liked the xo prawn noodles which had a light seafood flavour. The salted plum and longan osmanthus drinks were surprisingly good, not too sweet and with layers of flavour. I’m still a water girlie ultimately. Dumplings were all pretty good but I was full from the noodles. Want to try fried pierogi next time.
