Is a contemporary take on the classic Korean pojangmacha. Garosu infuses Singapore's culinary landscape with Kdrama vibes by reimagining street cuisine and Korean BBQ with the addition of freshly grilled seafood and makgeolli or soju drink.

Went for bbq lunch using chope vouchers! Pity the side dishes very mediocre and not as plentiful as in Sep, as that's what lured me to this place. Staff explained cause it was their opening month, so they had more variety of side dishes, which to me, is kinda like a false impression given to potential diners. The meat quality is good though! Pork belly is thick n succulent, and the beef not tough at all. Love the attentive table service, and the meats are grilled to perfection by the staff.

We really enjoyed the dinner here. We ordered the Set beef/pork set. It contains two pork and two set. Every type contained in the set was very satisfying. The waiter and waitress helped to bbq. The pan Chan were all very nice. And the soy bean paste soup was super super delicious. And in addition my hubby like the environment it was very spacious.

Wow I loved this place! It's definitely a good find even though there are so many Korean BBQ restaurants in that area. 1st customer for a Sunday lunch it was pretty quiet, but throughout lunch more and more people were dining in here. I guess this is a relatively new restaurant but I decided to visit here because I wanted to try the marinated crabs. I have to say the food portion was relatively generous, ordered the marinated crabs and realized there were actually 4 inside! It was very delicious and tasted pretty close to the ones in Korea, but tend to be more salty. The crabs were well marinated and so soft, went very well with the plain rice. I realized this was the way to eat as it can help to reduce the saltiness. Ordered the beef and pork set. It was really enjoyable. Was glad they cooked the pork first then the beef because it was the climax! Loved the tenderness of the Waygu beef and also the marination of the beef was so good it tasted like charsiew to me. The set came with the egg and the soup which were also pretty well done. Last but not the least had the honeycomb makgeolli and loved it. Not sure if that's the authentic way of drinking with honeycomb as makgeolli itself is already sweet to start with, but I felt the honeycomb enhanced the sweetness and made it taste so good that you keep drinking and won't treat it like an alcoholic drink. Very enjoyable meal and the staff was helping in the cooking of the meat, however in the end a small piece of rib was placed on the hot plate and they went attending other tables and it got burnt. Would definitely visit again.

Being the only table occupied in the restaurant, you'd expect exceptional service, but they were too busy sitting around playing their phones. We need to call them for every little thing, changing grills, extra sides, extra sauce. Asked for extra peppers and they didn't bring it in the end. Ordered the pork and beef set, but the beef slices never came. Questioned them about it and they pointed to the pork slices and said 'you can't tell till you cooked it'. We did, and it was just all pork slices. Really disappointing. Wouldn't wish this on anyone... Walk a couple of steps more, there are many other BBQ restaurants to choose from. Update: And stomachache the next day! Housemate that came with me was the same. Lowering food from 2, to 1 star... I'm really questioning the freshness of the food now. Ugh...

I satisfied my cravings last night with my family at Daejim BBQ, a cozy restaurant that serves delicious Pocha-style BBQ. The staff at Daejim BBQ were so helpful and made sure we enjoyed our meal to the fullest. We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was fantastic. Here are what we’ve got: 🥩 BBQ set with Iberico Pork and USDA Beef – the meat was so juicy, tender and flavorful. 🍗 The Dak Galbi (Stir Fry Chicken with Cheese) was a favorite of ours – it was the perfect balance of sweet and savory. 🦀 Ganjang-Gejang (Raw Crab) which was complimentary with any BBQ order – a must-try if you're a fan of seafood! 🍲 Sundubu Jigae (Korean Spicy Tofu Stew) was another winner – it had the perfect level of spice and was so comforting on a chilly night. 🥚 Gyeranjjim (Steamed Egg) was a simple but delicious side dish that we all enjoyed. 🍙 Jumeokbap (Seaweed Riceball) was a hit with the nephew – it was savory and delicious! 🥃 Honeycomb Makgeolli, a sweet and refreshing rice wine that I highly recommend. The quality of the food was outstanding – every dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Daejim BBQ, and we definitely recommend it to anyone who's craving some authentic Korean food.
