Turkish breakfast was really delicious and a must try. The bread was dense yet not dry. Poached egg was perfectly cooked and covered like a nest. Hummus was smooth with a little nutty texture. Loved every bite Pancake was fluffy and eggs were well cooked. Nothing spectacular imo Portions is large so share if you are a small eater. Service was impressive. Even offered water with ice cubes for my dog! Really thoughtful especially with the intense weather Only wished they had choice of low and high tables rather than all high ones.

The roasted veggie roots on a bowl of hummus is my idea of heaven. This is a great place in CBD where you can sit down and have a proper lunch over perfect coffee. My friend ordered the Kaya toast themed coffee but it was too much of a sugar explosion to me. They don't take reservations over lunch, so easy to rock up without any queue the day I went. I love common man as a great Singapore brunch staple. 😍

Common Man Coffee Roasters at Stanley Street serves very good coffee. I had an iced coffee with oat milk and it was genuinely very tasty. The staff were also a real positive. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, attentive and very helpful, which made for a good overall customer service experience. That said, the price was honestly outrageous. Paying $16.68 for one iced coffee and one small oat coffee IS excessive, even by Singapore standards. I do not mind paying more for quality, but there is a point where it just starts to feel unreasonable, and this crossed that line for me. So while the coffee itself was good and the staff were lovely, the pricing really let the experience down. For that reason alone, I would only give it ⭐️⭐️ stars.

Have been here multiple times and so far everything on the menu slapped. The nitro honey oat latte was really good, and remained strong even after the ice melted. Their regular white was kinda acidic, perhaps because of the roast. The açai bowl deserves a special shoutout as it’s packed with toppings and stayed solid throughout the entire meal. Cubano sandwich is quite huge and can be shared. The brown butter pancakes was decadent, perfect for a weekend pick me up, and not forgetting the cacio de pepe that is so so rich and pairs well with any of their sweeter menu items

After lunch, before the Asr prayer, I visited Common Man Coffee Bar & Roasters near Chinatown (around a 15-minute walk away). The place has a bar-style atmosphere, but they serve high-quality coffee as well. They do offer alcohol, so Muslim visitors should stay mindful. Despite that, the coffee experience itself is very solid. The staff were very helpful, informative, and knowledgeable about Singapore. They even shared recommendations about must-visit and underrated places around the city, which was really appreciated—especially for travelers. That day, they were using their CMCR blend (40% Guatemala Oriente Washed, 40% Piendamo Colombia Washed, 30% Ethiopia Muje Mesina Washed) for my café latte. The flavor was medium chocolaty, similar to milk chocolate, with a smooth body, medium acidity like fresh red apples, and a natural, balanced sweetness. They’re using a Victoria Arduino Eagle machine and Victoria grinders, which really helps make the brew smooth, consistent, and well-balanced. You can tell they pay close attention to quality. Overall, it’s a great spot for a short break while exploring Chinatown. Definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby ☕😎
