My partner and I celebrated our anniversary with dinner at COL, and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant’s ambiance is simply stunning—beautifully designed with dim lighting, making it an ideal spot for a romantic date night or a cozy dinner with friends and family. The food was absolutely delicious, and the team went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of throughout the evening.

Interesting casual restaurant, like the concept of how cozy it is in the evenings. It gets crowded during weekends so recommend to make reservations prior. Ordered 6 dishes and my favourites are the bread with dips (must try!), asparagus, grilled octopus and steak. Personally, the beef tartar was probably my least favourite. Portions of dishes are great for group sharing and prices didn’t break the bank. Service here was actually nice, very attentive and friendly. Great place to chill and catch up with friends before heading out to after dinner drinks.

New place that took over the Don Ho location. Decided to try the restaurant week menu. I wasn’t fond of them segregating the menu to two instead of giving us the flexibility to choose either or for each course. The cured salmon and roasted duck was grouped to one set while the king crab taco and hanger steak was the second option. We went for the King Crab and Hanger steak. The king crab taco was very tasty, you could taste the crab, the citrus in every bite. The medium rare hanger steak was very lean and tasted a little bloody but the texture was still okay, not chewy. Should have ordered medium. The dessert was good, dark choc and the ice cream went well together. We ordered the burrata as well and it was really good, went well with the zucchini with crispy bits in every mouth Aside from the menu, there was one thing that annoyed me. Would have been good if they mentioned up front that water was $2 as it wasn’t written anywhere in the menu. I would have ordered sparkling water. I didn’t like that I only found out when I got the bill as sometimes price of water can be ridiculously priced ($8-$12) so I’m usually cautious. It should either be mentioned in the menu or up front when they ask if we want sparkling or still that it’s a $2 per pax charge and refillable. Not that hard right? Normal price of food and drinks are on the high side. Most people complained portion is small but the restaurant week portion was more than enough for us.

Place had a relaxed and chill vibe. Loved the crab tacos as crab meat was fresh. Beef tartare and jamon croquettes were also very good. Burgers were outstanding with balanced taste and not messy to hold. Pasta had a good bite and strong bisque flavour. I liked it but some people may find it too salty and pungent. Dessert banana parfait was sublime. A definite must try here. Highly recommended.

Oh man… this restaurant is awesome! You get really good food and service! Starters: wood fire bread, jamon croquettes, king crab tacos. You may not be a carb lover but the wood fire bread might just turn you into one. Lightly crisp on the exterior, but soft and chewy on the inside. Damn delish! Dips that came with it were super tasty as well. Basically everything we ordered were super yummy. Mains: tagliatelle with mussels in homemade XO sauce and Tajima wagyu with onion rings. Pasta was very Shiok! Pasta feels like it’s handmade, cooked to al dente perfection and that XO sauce, I wanna lick the entire plate up! So good. Beef was satisfying but I think the star of the show on this plate were the onion rings. Crisp and sweet! Sinful but good! Desserts: Vanilla panna cotta and Banana parfait. Pls save some room for desserts cos they are worth your calories. On the whole we love this restaurant and their attention to detail… food wise and service wise. And oh, just a general observation, chef has a soft spot for chives, it’s on Almost everything! Not that I am complaining, everything goes with it and are delicious! We will be back!
