Trust me. This is a must go attraction! We are fortunate to meet "Alvin", the actor who featured Ah Chung who brought us with a vivid presentation on the history of the China town! Everything on 1st and 2nd floor are renovated with heart with great details filling with the 1950s environment! We are lucky that we visited those newly opened museum! Good job team!
View on GoogleI had a fantastic time visiting the Chinatown Heritage Centre in Chinatown. The museum does an incredible job of bringing history to life, especially the stories of early Chinese immigrants in Singapore. Walking through the recreated living spaces really gave a powerful sense of what life was like back then. The exhibits are well-designed, immersive, and easy to follow, making it both educational and engaging. I found myself slowing down to take in all the details. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience felt very well curated. It’s a must-visit if you’re in Chinatown and want a deeper understanding of Singapore’s cultural roots. Highly recommend!
View on GoogleA beautiful space, a quiet retreat from the busy streets of Chinatown. Full of such interesting, informative information that’s easy to read, about the people who came here and created this area, this part of Singapore which is so vibrant and interesting. I really enjoyed the interactive information and the Visual information that would also make it easy to bring children, say from the age of seven or eight. Highly recommend this lovely curated space
View on GoogleThe Chinatown Heritage Centre is an absolute must-visit for anyone looking to understand the soul of Singapore. It offers a moving look at the sacrifices made by early pioneers to build the strong nation we see today. I’m grateful to the recommendations from Singapore Airlines and Changi Airport for highlighting this as a key cultural landmark. Immersive History: The history is detailed with incredible craftsmanship. You truly get a sense of "life back in the days" through the well-preserved exhibits. Comfortable Environment: The entire centre is clean and well-air-conditioned, making it a very comfortable place to spend a few hours exploring. It is absolutely worth the visit if you want to connect with Singapore’s heritage in a meaningful way.
