I visited the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple during my Singapore trip last year, a late review but I still wanted to share my experience. It was one of the most wonderful places I visited. The temple is absolutely beautiful, both from the outside and inside with its impressive architecture, intricate details, and peaceful atmosphere. What I particularly enjoyed was exploring the different floors and seeing the many Buddha statues and Buddhist figures throughout the temple. The large statues, the smaller Buddha figures, the detailed carvings, and the beautiful interiors made the whole place really interesting to explore. The main hall with its huge Maitreya Buddha and the many Buddha statues surrounding it was especially impressive. It was also fascinating to learn about the temple's Buddhist heritage and the Sacred Buddha Tooth Relic housed inside. Overall, it was a peaceful, beautiful, and memorable experience, and definitely a place I would recommend visiting when in Singapore.

I visited the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple on Vesak Day, and the atmosphere was truly special. The temple was packed with devotees and visitors, with long queues forming both inside and around the grounds. Despite the large crowds, the experience remained peaceful and well-organized The temple itself is stunning, with its striking Tang Dynasty-inspired architecture, intricate details, and beautifully maintained interiors. The main prayer hall was filled with worshippers paying their respects, creating a sense of reverence and community that felt especially meaningful on such an important Buddhist occasion The most interesting thing I learnt is that the Buddha tooth was from Bagan Myanmar, which was discovered circa 1980 in Buddhist ruins

A place you need to visit if you come to Chinatown. It’s not only a pagoda but also a Buddha museum, where the Tooth Relic is located on the highest floor. There are different showcases on different floors, so take your time here if you are interested in religion. It’s free to enter, but do not wear sexy outfits, they will provide sarong to cover your legs (free).

This beautiful building is a Buddhist temple built with a distinctive Chinese style architecture and also houses a museum, a vegan restaurant and more importantly a tooth relic of the Buddha. The floor with the tooth relic is the most sacred part of the building and happens to be beautifully embellished. The museum is mostly about the life of the Buddha and the Maitreya, or the prophesied future Buddha of this world. The restaurant in the basement is the perfect way to round off a morning visiting with lunch.

Visited Buddha Tooth Relic Temple during my trip to Singapore and really liked the peaceful atmosphere there. The architecture and interior details are beautiful, and the place feels very calm even with tourists around. I also loved exploring the small museum and rooftop area. A nice place to learn about Buddhist culture and take a break from the busy city life. Definitely worth visiting if you’re around Chinatown 🙏✨
