Came here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The menu has a lovely mix of Japanese-inspired dishes, desserts and drinks, and every item we tried was well executed. The Signature Grilled Miso Black Cod was beautifully flaky with a rich, sweet-savory miso glaze, while the Classic Aka Napolitan Pasta was comforting with its balanced tomato sauce. The Karubi Yakiniku & Sakura Ebi Chilled Pasta was refreshing and packed with flavour, making it a great choice if you’re after something lighter. For drinks, the Mont Blanc Coffee was smooth and creamy, the Matcha Strawberry Cloud offered a nice balance of earthy matcha and fruity sweetness, and the Iced Matcha Blend with Azuki Shiratama Mochi was a satisfying treat with chewy mochi and sweet red beans. Dessert was a highlight too. The Shiro Kuma shaved ice was not only adorable but also delicious, with silky Hokkaido milk flavour, fresh fruits and vanilla ice cream. Since it’s August, don’t miss the limited-time Kopi O Milo Cream Puff, which combines aromatic kopi O, Milo and rich Hokkaido Jersey milk custard in a crisp choux pastry. The café has a cosy, relaxing atmosphere that’s great for lunch, coffee, tea or dinner, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. Definitely a place I’d be happy to return to.

Price slightly higher but food taste good! Environment is good, cozy with air-conditioning. Attracted by the cute bear ice shakes, good for photos but taste is normal. They offer grab partnership discount for dine in.

I was honestly really looking forward to this café, but I think my expectations were a bit too high. Out of everything I tried, only the cream puff truly stood out. It was rich, creamy, not overly sweet, and absolutely delicious. The coffee, on the other hand, was disappointing. I would suggest future visitors order hot coffee instead. With the iced coffee, I could barely taste the milk, so I couldn’t tell if they were actually using high quality Hokkaido milk. It might come through better in a hot latte. I also ordered the steak and eggs. The steak itself was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. Unfortunately, the sourdough and toppings were just average. The avocado completely soaked into the bread, making it soggy when it would have been much better if the bread had stayed crispy. I tried the zangi bowl as well. The rice was nice and fluffy, but the fried chicken was completely lacking in flavor. The batter was tough, and the sauce, whether it was yuzu or something else, was overly bitter and ended up ruining the dish. Considering the price, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Stopped by Baristart Coffee last Wednesday for an early dinner with my group of friends after hours for birthday catch up and had a really enjoyable experience. Their Japanese Pasta was flavorful and comforting especially Wafu Pasta and Udon Carbonara. while the Zangi Fried Chicken was crispy, juicy, and absolutely delicious, their wasabi mayo is too addictive, they should consider to sell it, i will definitely get it. The staff told me that they are planning to have more extensive dinner menu with Japanese Pasta coming up soon, so look forward to it. Shoutout to Jordi, Jacky and Henry for the warm hospitality and taking care of us really well. A pleasant surprise was that they also serve Sapporo beer by Pint and its $20++ for two pints🍻 which is a steal and we were drinking like there is no tomorrow plus its great to pair with their food too. The music playlist was great, it must be a curated one, definitely creating a fun atmosphere, and the ambience made it an ideal spot for catching up with friends after work. We had a blast and definitely our new after work place for happy hours with my friends, be back soon

Located right in the heart of the CBD, Baristart keeps things simple — great coffee and beautifully crafted desserts. Had their famous Pistachio Cream Puff — gigantic, generously filled, yet surprisingly light. The pistachio cream was earthy and not overly sweet, pairing perfectly with the crisp pastry shell. Also tried their homemade tiramisu which honestly felt restaurant-quality — smooth mascarpone, balanced espresso-soaked fingers, clean and refined flavours throughout. And of course, the flat white was excellent and paired beautifully with the desserts.
