2nd time back! Our previous dinner at Anju was pretty amazing. And this time, the lunch menu was no less impressive! Apparently we have too many faves, but I would definitely come back again for their beef short ribs, hobak jeon, and sweet potato crème brûlée. New dessert Butter Tteok Melona was wildly addictive too, with a butter tteok paired with refreshing Melona ice cream.

Food was interesting - some dishes were nice such as abalone pasta, yuk hoe, butter teok. Some were a miss such as the jeon. Service was good and attentive! I didnt feel that it was rushed unlike some of the reviews.

Great food, great atmosphere. Modern take on Korean cuisine well executed within a relatively selective menu of choices - so you can tell it’s been highly curated. Cost is on the moderately higher side. Reservations are highly recommended as the location isn’t very large. Advisable to come here as a group to maximise your dining experience.

The black bean mascarpone was my favorite starter, the sourdough cracker was wonderfully crispy. The sotbap was very fragrant, and the fish in it was fresh and perfectly cooked, though I wish the dish had been served warmer. The bossam pork belly melted in my mouth. The makgeolli pannacotta wasn’t overly sweet, with a subtle hint of alcohol that kept me coming back for more.

If you’re looking for a next-level fine dining experience in Singapore, this Korean restaurant absolutely delivers. From the moment you step in, the ambiance feels elevated yet intimate - perfect for a special night out or when you just want to treat yourself. What really stood out to me was how beautifully they reimagined traditional Korean flavours. Every dish was plated like a piece of art, but more importantly, the taste lived up to the visuals. You can tell there’s a strong focus on premium ingredients and refined techniques and nothing felt overdone, just perfectly balanced.
