As a tourist this place really satisfied my chicken rice craving. Not mind-blowing but it's what I missed. Jelly between the skin and meat was superb. That's when you know it's done right!

No longer the same smooth tender chicken with fragrant rice I used to enjoy. Furthermore, ordered two sets and requested both chicken breast, but one set was given only a chicken wing instead ($5/ set). And yes, paid $3 for a plate of bean sprouts, quite crazy indeed…

169 Hainanese Chicken Rice is located at Chinatown Complex Food Center. The chicken rice is quite fragrant and the chicken meat is tender and juicy. There are many chicken rice stalls in this food center, and I think 169 Hainanese Chicken Rice stall is one of the popular stall. I just hope the stall owner a bit more friendly when taking orders.
