Had Japanese food for dinner: - The grilled salmon belly was perfectly done, so tasty and juicy. - The grilled mushrooms were a bit burnt, so the taste was a bit too strong for me. - The chicken salad and beef soup set were both satisfying and a good choice. It wasn’t crowded during dinner time, which made it such a nice place to sit back, relax and chit-chat with friend. A cozy and pleasant dining experience overall!
View on GoogleBeef - delicious but not piping hot. Unagi - was nice. Prawn - freshly fried but batter was very thick. Croquettes - loved them. Japanese salad - very good. Used Eatigo discount, good price after discount.
View on GoogleVery affordable for restaurant ambience but the portion and quality of food was lacking. Sgd 11 for kamameshi chicken, chicken was about 100g, not much ingredients in soup, comes with pickled radish and bowl of rice. Would had paid more for better quality and larger portion. Chicken salad looks more substantial. Minus one star for not serving complimentary water.
View on GoogleWaku-Shin Yakiniku is a popular dining spot for both lunch and dinner, known for its value-for-money offerings and wide variety of dishes. In addition to grilled items, the menu features options such as the Keto Bowl with teriyaki chicken, unagi, or salmon. Guests can also enjoy ramen from its sister chain located nearby.
View on GoogleBought the Kris+ voucher for $169 (apparently 50%) but felt like it wasn’t so worth the value. A5 Japanese Wagyu Yakiniku with Sake pairing for 2 persons consists of: • Welcome Drinks • Waku-Shin salad • Chef's selection of Yakitori (5 kinds) • A variety of 6 types of A5 Japanese Wagyu Yakiniku (approx. 250 - 280 grams) • A flight of 3 Sakes • Surume Ika Teriyaki or Hamachi Kama • Hokkaido Cheese Cake different types of Wagyu cuts were nice, some a little too fatty while others are heavenly. Cheese cake was a little dry, we saw them take from some box bought from outside bakery. Restaurant was about 70% full on a Friday evening. What put us off was one of the staff scolding another waiter for not taking initiative or something, a bit unprofessional as she should tell him behind closed doors, not let the customer overhear the conversation. They also have other ala carte menu promotional items.
