I am seriously appreciate that there is vegetarian dishes available in a Vegan cafe! Not just one dish, it is 5 dishes in total! OMG! <3 Vegetarian dishes without allium vegetable like onion & garlic: - Truffle Fries, $5.90 - Scramble Toast, $8.90 - Big Breakfast, $9.90 - Buddha Bowl, $9.90 - Raw Mango Avo Zoodles, $9.90 It is tasty and filling too! <3 Their serving period is as fast like 5 min! That's really fast! *OMG*
View on GoogleThis place has a lot of potential, and I want it to survive. I tried the Buddha bowl ($10.55 with gst). Positives first: the bowl has every colour of the rainbow, except blue. Visually, it's a 9/10. The portion size is just right and filling. The mushrooms and the beetroot hummus are flavourful. There are a couple areas for improvement. The bowl is high in protein and fibre, with tofu, edamame, chickpeas, hummus etc., but it lacks fat. A sauce like cashew cream or tahini will make it more balanced and add flavor. Speaking of flavor, half of the ingredients are completely bland. This can be easily fixed, but cooking the quinoa in stock, dry roasting the chickpeas with cumin, and using sun dried tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes.

View on GoogleFriends and I had the Buddha bowl, mushroom spinach pasta, teriyaki and cheesy burgers, Berry refreshing smoothie. Would recommend the Buddha bowl and pasta. Pasta was esp a nice portion. We wern't too keen on the mushy nature of the mushroom patties but they were alright. The place is pretty small and only one staff cooking in kitchen, and one up front taking orders, cashiering and tidying the tables so be prepared to wait if there are orders before you.
View on GoogleI'm not really one to eat vegan food, but Soul ALife piqued my curiosity. However, my experience here was less than desired - might have been a case of mismatched expectations? I don't know. The Mac and Cheese ($7.90 nett) looked great in pictures & reviews - was pleasantly surprised to find this was actually a full portion enough for a meal, not like the appetizer-size that I was expecting. But upon first bite, I wasn't sure how I felt about it. It didn't have that authentic cheesy feel that I was looking for. A few bites in, I started to regret ordering it. Eventually, my partner & I didn't finish it; we left 1/5 untouched because it was just too salty to handle. Definitely not ordering this again 😔 The Cheesy Burger ($10.90 nett) might have also been a case of mismatched expectations. The patty wasn't a whole portobello mushroom like I thought it'd be. It was a minced mushroom kind of patty which couldn't hold itself together because it was not compacted tightly enough. Upon first bite, this already disappointed me. The sweet potato fries were the only respite. Perhaps I should've ordered the Buddha Bowl ($9.90 nett) which looks better & might taste better. 💳 Accepts credit cards & Favepay 🌬 Air-conditioned seats only 🙋 No Service Charge 🚫 No GST 📶 No WiFi available 💦 Free water served
