Ate 2 prata sets (Curry Chicken and butter chicken) and the prata is crispy and not oily. The two types of chicken was nicely flavored but not particularly great. Seats were available for a late lunch on a Sunday
View on GoogleThe Prata is fluffy crispy and nice . The butter chicken is sweet and creamy not to my liking . The normal curry that come with the Prata taste better. 2 stars coz the dinning area is not clean and hygienic. Tables were not clear in time and properly clean up. I found curry stain on my table and chair . There were food particles left on my booth seat … dun even look under the table quickly finish my food and go.
View on GoogleWe love Zaffron Kitchen, so when we had a craving for good roti prata, we decided to come to their sister restaurant, Prata Wala, and were not disappointed. This is one of those foods that I think people tend to have strong personal views on in terms of their preferences and what tastes best, and everyone has their “go to” place. That’s fine. I have mine, too, but we didn’t want to trek too far and also wanted a meal that we were comfortable was made from quality ingredients, so we decided to give this a try. The curries were very good — we had one chicken and one mutton — with large portions and thick gravy. The roti prata was served piping hot, soft and chewy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. We found the meal thoroughly satisfying and the value for the quantity and quality of food was good, as was the service. They have a reasonably large menu, including breakfast specials and sets throughout the day. We will be back for sure. Update: on a return trip, I tried the butter chicken. Not bad but I prefer the regular chicken curry. Their onion prata is really good, as is the garlic.
View on GoogleIt’s a comfortable and spacious place for Prata but that’s where it ends. The prata was decent and freshly made but there wasn’t anything else to justify the high price. The curry chicken was huge but tasted frozen and how it was presented was totally unappetizing. The Briyani was just something to forget. Had lots of rice but it was not fragrant or tasty. The achar that came with it looks sad and tasted hurried. One can easily find prata at a fraction the price elsewhere
View on GoogleDropped into this store as we were walking past to try out their "Paper Thosai" which was amazingly bigger than I expected! The thosai was super lightweight and paper thin. It came with a selection of three dipping sauces including two cold options and one warm option. The thin consistency of the dish allows you to enjoy the depth of their sauces. Ordering was super quick with only one other person in line and the food was out in about 5 minutes. The dining instore had a good amount of seating with the aisle wide enough for a basic wheelchair. Included in store as well was a washing station to clean your hands before and after eating as the meals are generally best enjoyed with your hands. Great dining experience and definitely recommend the thosai as a novelty to check out.
