Food is relatively ok- especially the sweet n sour pork and the prawns are fresh (that’s the 2 stars) but the service can be much improved. Currently there is a promotion for Peking duck and so we ordered a few dishes plus the Peking duck. The duck turned out to be a little over burnt. My aunt who tried to speak with the staff (the kitchen staff who served) and a black jacket female staff, they totally waved off her feedback. I think that sucks. What makes it worse is the kitchen auntie who served commented: it’s like that. All like that. WHAT IS LIKE THAT? It’s like telling my aunt take it or leave it. They didn’t care. Continued to bring the duck to kitchen to de-skin and stir fried the meat. LIKE NOTHING WAS DONE. When I tried to get the male black jacket staff to ask the manager over, THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN ALSO. And why is the manager standing at the doorway where her role also involves checking the dining experience of customers?? I understand the duck was on promotion but promotion or not, there are standards and there is customer feedback. The service recovery is really poor and that needs further training - the whole team basically.

Tried their ala-carte high tea buffet on saturday for the first time. Ordered the food and was so shocked with the amount of portion served. End up couldn’t finish the food and had to pay normal price to takeaway the charsiew buns that I ordered and couldn’t finish. The meat sweet and sour pork, stir fried beef, pork ribs are very salty. Deep fried prawn dumplings are salty. Custard bun, Siew mai, wine prawn, truffle abalone fried rice are nice. Order with care if you are going with 2 person. Every individual dishes are big in portions. Service is efficient and friendly. Atmosphere is quiet and spacious.

Have patronised this place for years and we hardly got disappointed with the dishes. I personally think they cook better than O*** branch. Suckling pig is v crispy, and love the promo of course. Weekend typically more crowded.

Terrible under seasoned food. We decided to celebrate our dad’s birthday at Peach Garden. The food has deteriorated over the years, making it a huge disappointment today. 10 of us spent close to $700 for a very unsatisfying meal. The suckling pig was so fat and wasn’t fresh at all, resulting in a very porky after taste. The salted egg prawns were hard to bite and tasted very normal, not worth the price. Roasted crispy chicken was $60 plus and very mild tasting. Most of the dishes we had were under seasoned sadly. Service was okay but the restaurant manager was kinda pushy on getting us to order the set menu for 10 despite us telling her we preordered the suckling pig and had 2 children with us. Definitely will not be back again, such a waste of our money. Could have been spent in a way nicer restaurant

Patronised the restaurant with my family (including my baby). At around 10pm on 19 October, I pulled a crinkly piece of plastic out of my mouth when i was eating my bowl of yam paste. Since this is a food safety issue, I wanted to highlight it but a staff cleaning the next table said they were closed. Notwithstanding the fact that this is a hygiene issue, I'm not sure if this is supposed to be kind of attitude he should be giving to a paying customer. I went ahead and informed the manager. No apology given, but she asked what I wanted as replacement. I said that since they were closing I would opt to get another dessert to go. She then took the yam paste away. I was then given a bowl of mango sago as a replacement (pictured, looks half filled TBH) by another staff member. End of story from them. No apology, no accountability. Was this a normal thing to happen? Horrified that this was the experience from a reputable restaurant. Moreover, my bill had costed almost $600 for 7 adults. Food was okay but totally not worth the potential plastic poisoning risk.
