Ordered the premium loin and delighted that meat was tender. I chose the dark soup was not herbally nor peppery so it did not leave a strong impression. You tiao was not crunchy and yam rice not really fragrant. Tau pok soaked in the sauce was great though. Overall good morning meal. All in all, cost $11 which was not too bad.

A good bowl of traditional old school herbal BKT. Pork ribs has a lot of meat and it's satisfyingly delicious and filling. Stall owner is super friendly too. Highly recommend!

We ordered the small portion and it was enough for two pax. The meat was soft, and the soup had a mild flavour as the herbal taste wasn't very strong. It would probably have tasted better if served hotter 😅 Auntie served us the food even though it was supposed to be 'self-service' 🤣 Overall, it was good for the price and I'd recommend if you're a fan of herbal bkt

For years have been visiting this stall whenever I can as it’s one of the rare old school herbal Bak kit teh in Singapore (recent years got other new chains) ever since I first ate here about 20yrs ago. Hope they continue to last as long as possible! The meat just slips off the bone and the soup is great!

On Sundays, there aren’t that many good street food options at Hong Lim Food Centre. Morning Bak Kut Teh is one of the oldest stalls here, operating for over 40 years. It serves a Hokkien style bak kut teh, featuring a dark soy sauce based broth with a mild herbal aroma. Honestly, by today’s standards, it’s quite average. That said, if you’re looking for an old school, nostalgic taste, this is one of the few places still run by its original owner.
