Queuing duration maybe 1 hour +/- during peak hours. Started since 1965. Had been running for 3 generations. 3 words to describe our noodles: SIMPLE TASTY DISH We love to serve our wanton noodles in the way our grandparents served.

This is the one reason why I love travelling. Thank you for this unique food experience. No surprise this local food stand has been awarded Bib Gourmand by Guide Michelin. For my tray I paid a total of 10 Euros and it was stunning. Ji Ji Signature Wanton Noodles, Pork Dumplings in a tasty broth and Mama‘s Curry Chicken Noodles. Worth the long wait. The lady still took time to explain to me how to get the best out of every dish. The Hawker Market atmosphere added to the 10 out of 10.

Nicest wanton noodle in SG in my opinion. Ji Ji have their own distinctive flavor, no other similar like theirs. The sauce very flavourful and umami. The soup also light but aromatic. Charsiu very meaty, as well as the wontons, i prefer the non fried more. They topped the noodles with fried pork lard, which is very pleasing in texture. The only downside is, the queue can be long, and sometimes aunty working alone, and she already working in her best pace, so we must be patient. But don’t worry, it’s worth the wait.

Among all the hawker stalls I've tried during my Singapore trip, Jiji Noodle was the most unforgettable one because of their food was absolutely flavorful and savoury, a pleasant surprise after seeing how inaesthetically pleasing their food looks. Their wantons both fried and in soup were so delicious. The fried noodles were heavenly and absolutely enjoyable. A classic case of "dont judge a book by its cover". This was an unforgettable meal!

I ordered the SGD 5.50 dish at JIJI Signature Char Siew Wanton Noodle. The char siew was sweet and very tender, and the seasoning of the noodles was excellent. The noodles had a good thickness and firmness, and the portion size was just right. The wonton soup was flavorful and delicious, making the meal even more satisfying. Since the stall was run by a single person, it takes about 3 to 5 minutes per order for preparation and serving. As a result, even if there are only a few people ahead of you, the wait can feel quite long. After ordering, payment is made at a self-service machine. I visited around 11 a.m., and although there were about 10 people in line, I ended up waiting around 40 minutes.

This stall truly shines with attention to detail. The char siew is incredibly soft and flavourful, while the fried and soup wantons have distinct seasoning and filling profiles. The soup wanton is peppery with a delightful chestnut crunch, whereas the fried wanton boasts a complex oniony taste and is perfectly fried. The noodles are cooked al dente and are seasoned with pork lard and their own braised sauce, which ties the dish together beautifully. The soup itself is a delightful departure from the usual wanton soup. Each bowl of noodles is a testament to the owner’s dedication, and you’ll leave wishing other wanton places would put in half as much effort. The owners are incredibly friendly, adding to the overall experience. (Note: They only accept cash and get ready to queue! But trust me, it’s well worth the wait.)
