Great food and service as usual. Ivan was attentive and timely follow-up on getting our dessert served.
View on GoogleWe visited **Hoshino Coffee** today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We gave feedback that the soufflé was not properly baked. Both of us only took one bite each to confirm that it was undercooked. A young staff member who claimed he was the manager, named Wee Hou (he did not even introduce himself — we had to ask other staff for his name), responded in an unprofessional manner. He repeatedly questioned whether we had eaten the food and said he would only offer a 50% discount because we had taken a bite. We made it clear that we did not need any discount and that we can afford to pay for our meal. Our concern was never about the money — it was about food quality and service standards. Instead of addressing the issue with understanding and professionalism, his attitude came across as defensive and dismissive. We even took a video of the soufflé after the manager removed it from our table. It was obvious that the portion appeared smaller than when it was first taken away by the waiter. I have never encountered a store manager who speaks to customers in such a manner. We are extremely disappointed with the service and hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves staff training and customer service standards. We rejected the discount from the manager, we don’t need such discount food!
View on GoogleAmbience is great, there wasn't much people even though it was peak dinner time. Serving took a short while even tho it was not crowded. Food was not bad and the fruit tea was great :)
View on GoogleA comforting corner in busy Chinatown Point where food is consistent and delicious. Service is speedy and efficient. Staff is warm and professional. Especially Ivan, who is extremely attentive and fast.
View on GoogleFood was bad, only the drinks (fruit tea) were alright. The hotcake was perhaps the only edible item on the entire menu. The rest were disastrous: • Souffle: Blasphemous to call this a souffle, it was severely undercooked inside, did not even rise properly, and tasted like sugar. • Aglio Olio: Tasteless and terribly oily, one of the worst pastas I've had. • Seafood Omurice: This tasted like ketchup, it was really sweet and overly creamy. The egg was just alright, nothing special and definitely did not look like the real deal in those viral Japanese food videos. To top it off, the service was really bad as well: 1. When we provided feedback on the souffle, the waiter didn't seem fazed at all and told us that it was meant to be like that. Really? I suggest they relook at their recipe and learn how to properly make a souffle. 2. The food took really long to arrive, which was puzzling considering how we were the only table that had placed an order (there was only one other table that had already gotten their food). 3. They should seriously do something about their aircon, it was very hot. Overall, at this price point, Hoshino Coffee was a major letdown and a dining disaster. I'd advise skipping this place as it isn't worth your time or money.
