This is the first curry chicken noodle stall here in Hong Lim. The others are copies. This stall’s owner is easily the second or third generation and from the looks of it the next generation is already helping out. Great curry flavor and chef really takes his time to ensure the chicken pieces are evenly coated with the curry. I remembered once a lady in queue behind me complained that it took too long. Guess good food shouldn’t rush. Chicken pieces are tender and moist with curry. Lots of tau pok and even the fish cake slices are good. So don’t go upstairs to the copies. Just queue and be patient.
View on GoogleThe best chicken curry soup I've ever had in my entire life!!! I had a small bowl for $7 (large $9.50). The soup consists of two pieces of fish, a potato, tofu, chicken, and yellow noodles. I can't describe how delicious this dish is! It should be a UNESCO World Heritage! You absolutely have to come and try this delicacy! Congratulations guys, for me, you were the best Michelin street food in Singapore❤️ I will definitely go back for another soup before I leave the city, but I will obviously get the large size next time!
View on GoogleWe got 2 small bowls for $15 total. The curry gravy isn’t overly thick or heavy – it’s light, tasty and so drinkable, I finished every last drop 😋 The tau pok soaked up all that lovely curry flavour perfectly, and the chicken was soft and tender. Only small letdown: it wasn’t served piping hot. Overall still a very satisfying bowl
View on GoogleI really like the robust, aromatic curry that is light enough to slurp directly from the bowl, yet intensely savory and rich. And the soup levels up signficantly when you add some of their smoky sambal chili! I always go for beehoon and mee here, which helps to absorb the curry flawlessly. The toppings are great too - the chicken is tender, and the potatos are nice and soft. And for some reason, the fishcake here tastes amazing! I’ve posted more photos and some tips on visiting this stall on my Instagram @iamgettingfat. Do check it out :)
View on GoogleHeng Kee Curry Chicken Mee is officially in my Top 3 for Singapore! The flavors are on another level. So glad I managed to get a bowl today 🍜.. However, i felt that at $7 for a small bowl, it is on the pricier side for hawker food.
