Was looking for a dinner spot in the bustling drinking area and stumbled upon this gem. We ordered a variety of dishes — soft shell crab maki, fresh sashimi, grilled stingray fin, stir-fried beef, fried oysters, chawanmushi, pork skewers, and fried soft shell crab. Every dish was well-prepared and delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and craving quality Japanese food with drinks to match.
View on GoogleHere during the happy hour, $5 drinks, what a steal! I’ve been to this place 10+ years ago and I’m surprise the food quality is still as good. The place hasn’t change much, so if you like a homely rustic feel, you have it here.
View on GoogleThe happy hour deals here are pretty good, especially with $5 drinks like wine, beer (300ml), and highballs, plus a nice selection of $5 small food items. The atmosphere is below average, and it's a bit tough when other places nearby offer larger pints for just a dollar or two more. Overall, it's an okay spot, but the value could be a little sharper.
View on GoogleSurprising little place a friend had intro with a huge variety of selection of Izakaya style food and drinks. Remember to drop by during Happy Hour! $5 and $10 promotion price is very worth it! The octopus dish is delish! Oysters are fresh too.
View on GoogleCame here with my colleague after work and we were so happy to find their Happy Hour menu — selected food and drinks for just $5 from 5pm to 8pm! Such good value for fresh Japanese food in the CBD. We ordered red wine and oolong highball for drinks, plus salmon sashimi, fresh oysters, salmon mentai yaki, skewers, and maki rolls. Everything was super fresh and delicious — the sashimi was melt-in-your-mouth good, the oysters were fresh and plump, and the skewers were simple but really flavourful.
