It has been many years since I last visited here for a meal and the decor and vibe of this place remains. And it continued to be busy and popular with locals and expats who enjoy all-day brunch that comes with a wide variety and a curated menu that represent some of the big countries all over the world. We did not make a reservation, but it was just a 15 mins wait for a counter seat during Sunday lunch hour. Service was prompt and the food is good. We had a I love NY which is bagel served with scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and a Tokyo that is inspired by Okonomiyaki that is grilled cabbage served with a poached eggs and 4 braised pork belly. Both dishes are simple and satisfying. I'd probably not take another many years to visit here again.
View on GoogleBack to Wild Honey at Mandarin Gallery after so many years, and I must say the experience has improved significantly. The biggest difference was the service. From the moment we arrived, we were assigned a dedicated crew member who looked after us throughout the meal, making the experience feel much more personalised. We were also thoughtfully seated in a comfortable corner, which made the brunch even more enjoyable. As someone who can be quite particular (or judgy, if I'm being honest) about customer experience, that definitely earned extra points. The food was beautifully presented, portions were generous, and every dish was well executed with fresh, quality ingredients. It was evident that care had gone into both the preparation and presentation. It's great to see a restaurant not only maintaining its food quality but also raising the bar on its hospitality. Safe to say it won't take me another few years before my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality brunch with attentive, personalised service.
View on GoogleA consistently impressive experience at Wild Honey. The Musakhan Chicken was beautifully flavoured, the Classic Steak Frites was well executed, and the Turkish-style poached eggs with bagel was a great choice for our son. What stood out just as much was the service. Danish and Jovia were attentive, warm, and thoughtful throughout, without ever being intrusive. Excellent food, polished service, and a very enjoyable overall experience. It's refreshing when a restaurant gets both the food and service right. We’ll definitely be back.
View on GoogleHad a lovely dinner at wild honey, which has a cosy, softly lit vibe that feels great for a relaxed catch-up or casual date night. Rei was especially friendly and took great care of us throughout. We had the Norwegian salmon toast and the Reuben-style sandwich, plus a flat white. The salmon was especially well put together—creamy, savoury and fresh, with every component working in harmony without becoming too heavy. The sandwich was generously filled and satisfying too. At $82 for two, it felt like a pretty fair little treat for the food, service and atmosphere.
View on GoogleFinally get to try it. Decent food , nice ambience, portion was ok . Loved the French toast. Probably I have a high expectation for Rosti, theirs was pretty ok - had better ones at marche. Favourite breakfast cafes in orchard 1. Nesuto (ion), 2. Surrey hills grocer (ion), 3. Tie between paragon’s PS Cafe and wild honey. Reservations are recommended.
