06 May 2026 review: Not very crowded on a Wednesday dinnertime. Quite upset that their egg tarts are sold out already, at about 7pm. Shrimp dumplings are not bad, in soup or spicy coated. Mixed grill is quite disappointing. The meats are mostly overcooked and quite dry. Broccoli also became abit charred cause they were on the hotplate. Soup and toast bread is normal. Nothing fascinating. Charsiew tasted not bad. Horlicks very thick.

The price is high for its portion size. Taste is okay but it is more localised but then again, Tsui Wah is no longer in HK so it is a disconnect. The drinks are actually quite shockingly expensive. The famous HK lemon ice tea is like $6+ inc service charge and GST. Oh yah it is a nice touch for its service charge they provide plum water and tissues - that’s a kudos compare to many other restaurants taking service charge for nothing.

Went there on a weekend and waited for around 15 minutes for seating. Food was generally good and very close to HK cha chaan teng standard. Pork chop bun was lightly seasoned, tender, juicy and savoury. The scallions chicken chop rice was very appetizing and tasty. Meat was very juicy, tender and well marinated while milk tea was also rich and creamy. There was also a promotion going on for egg tarts - buy 3 free 1. Tried it and tasted good - crust was crispy and the custard was creamy & not so sweet. Most of the food portion were decent and very reasonably priced. Overall a pleasant experience and would be better if the food serving could be faster.

Was there on weekdays so relatively quieter, food has been consistent and always loved their wanton. Radish soup is also my must order item. The char siew also good, just that it’s thickly cut and I may prefer to be thinner slice. Beef koay teow was great, the beef slice is tender as always. Their egg tart is to die for, not overly sweet!
